Mermaid Inn Tobermory
We LOVED our stay at the Mermaid Inn. Location was great, just 5 minutes from the main strip, so we never had to worry about parking. The rooms were cute, clean and very on-theme. Yvette was WONDERFUL. She made us feel so welcome and she was a great help with recommending things to do in the area. She even had a campfire going for us in the evenings! We will definitely be staying here again on our next visit to Tobermory!!

Absolutely adorable!The Innkeeper Yvette is very kind and welcoming. She gave a little tour, let us know about the light breakfast available in the outdoor kitchen and provided a little tourist package letting you know what there is to do in Tobermory.We stayed in the king loft. It was such a beautiful little set up with a separate entrance, little kitchenette, a nice balcony space outside, and a cute little sitting area inside. 5 minute walk to 'downtown' Tobermory where there are lots of restaurants and shops and the Harbour.

HIGH RECOMMEND!BEST FEATURES!- Pet Friendly- Quite- Welcoming- close to activitiesBest place I’ve stayed at in awhile! Cozy, cute and comfortable, and just minutes from the Tobermory harbour.Owner had coffee brewing for us 8am every morning. Was quite and had a uniqueness that you’ll never find at a hotel.I don’t normally don’t stay at bed and breakfasts, and was a bit hesitant about staying at one but I’d have to say id pick the Mermaid inn vs a generic hotel any trip!! I stayed at the travellers inn right after this that was only $100 cheaper for 2 nights and it was so unpleasant compared to here.We were able to bring our dog which was a huge plus for us and the owner was so kind making sure we could get into our room safely late at night.ONLY COMPLAINTthe walls are a bit thin so it’s easy to hear other guests when talking loudly but barely noticed it as guests seemed respectful and considerate of others.Again, the stay was lovely and so welcoming. Had such a great trip in Tobermory and would definitely stay again.

A stunning place to stay, right in the heart of Tobermory.My wife and I had the pleasure to stay in the Deluxe King room for 3 nights in late February. Tobermory is fairly desolate at that time of year - even most of the locals have left town! Jaime gave us a great rate, and Yvette (the innkeeper) was a brilliant host. Not only did the room accommodate for all of our needs (stunning bathroom, fridge, kettle and coffee maker, as well as a selection of snack foods), but Yvette was really friendly and accommodating - we even got a cooked breakfast the morning before we left!If you're in the area, the Mermaid Inn is absolutely worth your time.

I liked the room it was cozy and being in a nature setting was great. It was clean and easy walk downtown. The morning coffee was really good. I would stay again

Mermaid Inn Tobermory
This cottage is located very close to the harbor. It take only 10 min walk to the harbor to grab food or take the ferry to flowerpot. The hose Yvette is of great hospitality and we guests got very nice chat in the evening in the yard. Very relaxing and comfortable. I love this place!!!

Mermaid Inn Tobermory
Fantastic experience visiting Tobermory this past weekend, and a stay at Mermaid Inn was the cherry on top. Yvette the innkeeper was very welcoming and friendly, providing my wife and I with information on places to go to eat and have fun. Our room was very clean, and we loved the decor. 10/10 we will be booking with them again next time we’re in town!

Mermaid Inn Tobermory
My husband, our dog and I, had an amazing stay at the mermaid inn! Yvette was so welcoming and the place was so cozy and convenient to everything. We took full advantage of the beach cruiser bikes to go into town for meals (4mins) and explore the town. There were also many other great spots for food within walking distance. It was the perfect weekend getaway, we will definitely be back :) Thank you!

Yvette is a great host! The outdoor kitchen was great for boiling water for hot chocolate and hot apple cider after a rainy/damp day of hiking the Bruce Trail. The Mermaid Inn is a great short walk to downtown Tobermorey. Our room was great for our weekend of hiking. It was great having an bar fridge for our munchies. Our apologies for the music. We didn't realize the sound traveled through the rooms. Thank you for a great stay
