Joel created and captured the most touching, poignant, and beautiful moments on film as my team, and I worked preparing holistic and healthy foods for a film crew over the course of 5 days. Joel took on the job of doing photography for our wedding during the Covid-19 pandemic. Even though there were many truncated parts of the wedding, he was able to capture incredible moments and provide us with many memories to look back on. He completed all touch-ups in a timely manner, and helped us select beautiful locations for our pictures after the ceremony. Many of the photos that became our favorites were ones that he suggested we take.Recommended indeed!

I have hired Joel to assist me on countless projects for both photo and video. What sets Joel apart from others in the field is that he has put in the time to practice and practice well. His knowledge in lighting, gear, and industry secrets makes him indispensable on any team. On one of our last shoots together I showed him a photo I took, he made the simple recommendation of shifting the light 2 degrees over and increasing the power by a few points. That photo ended up being the best shot we captured of our client and it wouldn't have been possible without him.
