I had a fantastic experience with Shades of White! Chris was very understanding of my family situation and helped me feel at ease with it all. She was honest about what worked for me and what didn't. I appreciated that and we ended up finding the perfect dress! She had booked me in to come back a few days later so I could show my family members and they could have that bridal dress store experience, which I was nervous for, but it all worked out great with the help of Chris! <3

Had a wonderful experience here! My consultant was Chris and she was extremely helpful and not pushy at all. She picked out dresses that worked great for my body and I ended up with the most beautiful dress that I’m so in love with!! They have a great price range and are very sweet and supportive. Highly recommend over other bridal shops in Victoria! Better staff and better prices :)

First store I went to. I've wanted to go here for a wedding dress appointment ever since I got my high school prom dress here!My stylist was Chris.Chris really helped me figure out what style of dress I wanted, listened to my feedback, made me feel welcome and beautiful.Shop had a little basket I could put my clothes in, which was a nice touch.Was a great experience, and I'm so happy that I was able to start my wedding dress journey here!

My wedding was a few years ago now, but after a recent conversation with a friend who recently got engaged I realized I should probably leave a rating here to help prevent anyone else from having the same experience I had.I'm plus sized and had made an appointment here after googling what dress shops had sample sizes that would fit me. One of the first things I was told was that I shouldn't expect any" of the dresses I tried on to look how they were supposed to due to my size. My budget was $1000-$1500 and it was heavily suggested that between my size and budget

The staff were very knowledgeable, kind, and efficient with their time. They captured my vision perfectly! I walked in not knowing what I wanted, and walked out with a wedding dress that held everything I didn't know I was looking for! ❤️ Definitely recommend!

Just leaving a review based on my recent experience purchasing a wedding gown. In terms of the logistical side of things (trying on dresses, professionalism, timeliness) I had a good experience. Unfortunately, the personal experience that I had with my consultant was not good. I expected my wedding dress experience to be warm, inviting, and encouraging and it felt like nothing more than a business transaction. When I tried on my dress once it came in, my consultant didn’t smile, give one compliment, congratulate me at all, or make any conversation with me or my guests. With both the initial trying on experience, and trying on my gown when it came in, I sadly felt very disappointed with my personal experience at Shades of White. Based on reviews, I am certain I would have had a totally different experience with a personable consultant.

Shades of White Bridal Boutique was one of the most fun experiences I've ever had! I spontaneously booked this appointment while visiting Victoria during a sample sale. Monica was my stylist and she was the most kind and wonderful human being! She was so organized and had dresses picked out for me based off my inspo pics I filled out in the application. She got my vibe exactly and they were all so cute! I ended up choosing the first dress tried on. <3 Honestly all the stylists there were just so sweet. The energy of this bridal boutique was amazing and I could not recommend this place more!Thank you Monica and to all the stylists there. Such a wonderful experience! My mum and I were able to be fit in for a quick impromptu appointment and within minutes I was trying on beautiful dresses. The associate was very knowledgeable and friendly. She quickly adapted to my dress size and preferred style; suggesting various bits of info to help me look my best. It was such a relief to have the process go so smoothly and painlessly!

I had the best time Veil shopping! My stylist was very kind, and so patient. She had found a gown similar to the one I've purchased so I could get the full effect and must have pulled out every veil option for me to try on! Can't wait to pick it up in the fall.
