This review is about service department. Service really went downhill. Used to bring my old car to them 10 years ago, it was great. Now purchased a vehicle from here a few years ago with extended warranty, and they aren’t able to address emergency safety issues due to being “too busy”Promising repair, then saying parts aren’t available, never following up , the worst experience.

Worst experience ever. They Made wrong insurance claim ,wasted 2 weeks of waiting until i found out myself or else might be 2months or forever. Want to talk to manager but always forwarded to other agent. Promised claim for 2 tires ended up insurance company only paid 1 and i have to fork out money to top up the unnecessary extra tire cost as they insisted changing 2 tires lnstead of 1 . Never come here to service car and buy. Might be good service selling , bad service after. GoodLuck

With the whole supply/chain fiasco which has impacted all auto manufacturers, dealership have gotten into dirty ways of making money. I called/visited 6 dealerships in lower mainland. For a new hybrid SUV you either wait for 1-2 years, or pay 20%+ on top of MSRP. After waiting for 8+ months on another dealership's waiting list with no hope in sight, I decided to put a deposit with Jim Pattison northshore. Both the sales team and the management were super helpful to get me a car with a much faster timeframe compared to any other dealership.These guys can't do magic or manufacture cars themselves, but I highly recommend to give them a call if you are considering a Hyundai car.

I bought a Hyundai battery from them on Nov19 2020 with 5 years warranty and battery died after 2 years. I called them and I was told that the battery just has 2 years warrany which is weird because battery has a tag on it that showed the warranty is valid for 5 years. After second call they dropped the call and did not talk to me and did not provide any further information. I am extremely disappointed not just because the battery died and made so much trouble for me in the middle of nowhere but also for the poor customer service I received afterward.

Not recommending Hyundai Northshore at all!I have been their customer since 2015. Always have taken my cars to them for regular services. Always have given them good comments. Even when they made mistakes, the time that I got my second car and they gave me wrong paperwork with wrong VIN and wrong info on it and it made so much trouble for me ( I got lucky to find it out myself when I was trying to set up the phone application for the car).4 weeks ago went there for a regular service. After a few hours they let me know brakes were almost zero. What choices I had?! Ofcourse the charge would be little bit more. And guess what,.. the charge was more than $1,800.So unsatisfied and disappointed!I got some quotes from other places, all of them very very lower than Hyundai Northshore.My lease term is going to end in a month and will never go back there.The quality of vehicles, not the same as old days. Since Ukraine's war quality been going down and down because hyundai had factories in Ukraine and after war , just random factories here and there are manufacturing parts and vehicles. Barely coming from Korea. I wrote a lot and that's enough. No more time and money for HYUNDAI.

Worst service department I've ever been to. The front line people know nothing about cars and do not take down details of the problems, the mechanics are sloppy. I am on the list for an Ioniq 5 but am thinking of cancelling - or going to a dealer that is out of my area for service.Response to the response: Yes, my last experience was better. A service advisor who actually tried. But I am not convinced. The dealer shows no interest in finding out why I think they are the worst service department ever. They keep telling me to expect a satisfaction survey, but surveys never arrive. And the absence of an offer to talk about what went wrong is pretty striking in the dealer's response.
