The health unit has been overreaching their rights massively. They are the reason many have lost their will to live. I contacted them when I was spiraling, but nothing no help, no nothing, they simply do not care about any person. Only about putting out numbers that look good!

I am just extremely disappointed. With how they treated us. My daughter and I are on disability, she ended up with a huge road rash on her leg from rideing her bike. We went there looking for Help asking politely for some gauze, bandages and Anything that could help. But they sent us away telling us to go to a pharmacy and buy it ourselves .. REALLY BUT YOU GIVE drug addicts and drug supplys needles and alcohol swabs for free and as much as they want for free..But nothing for my daughter with a hurt leg. The only reason I'm leaving g this message on here is because I have called and left messages and no one will return my call

When I had my son I was given the opportunity to have a Public Health Nurse (Laura Anguish) come to my home to check on how my son, and myself were doing. She tracks his weight and growth, anything medical. She was knowledgeable beyond expectations and if she wasnt sure she found out. I also recieved a Parent Support Worker (Jody Elliot-Lorch) and she helps with our overall well being as well as his developmemt and my parenting. THEY ARE MY GAURDIAN ANGELS!!! I would be lost without these women! This is a service EVERY mother should get......no matter their income.....every single member of a family can benefit from these services! Public Health is an asset to our community!

Hello, I am a restaurant owner and have an issue with a health inspection, I already did my best cleaning around the stove area as told by her. I couldn’t clean under stove because the equipment is couple hundred pounds, even if I was able to move it also hooked up to a gas line would be really dangerous and she keeps on telling us the area is accessible but there less the 1 foot in height. I had many complaints to the health unit but they only stand for on the side with the health inspector.

Community event is being sponsored by SW public Health. St Joseph High School Testing, April 21st. This during a province wide stay at home order and In Person learning has been stopped due to the risk it poses to our school and community. SW Health has decided to allow 5 different school populations to flow through one location over the course of 5 hrs. This ignores the very principle of the stay at home order and also the stay at home learning. How is this event acceptable? This is a high risk event that will result in community transmission. What steps are in place to protect those attending this event? If there are acceptable steps to allow this to happen then why can't we use those same steps to have in class learning. We don't even allow 2 cohorts in the school at once and now we have 5 school populations attending in a shortened period of time.

When it comes to the programs and services this place provides I have been very satisfied with the services and help I've received here. I couldn't afford my birth control and they have it available at such a reasonable price that many women do not know they provide this service. There's so much help to parents there it's quite a relief to have in this town.
