Linley Valley Veterinary Clinic
We were visiting the island from the interior but had to get some staples out of a sutured laceration, once the wound had healed on our dog. This was a simple task, but Linley Valley was the only clinic in town to make room in their schedule to do it free-of-charge. Very kind too, when we walked in the door.

i have taken three of my kitties here, one of them was at the end of her life and while it was one of the hardest days of my life the vet was so thoughtful, accommodating, and caring. i have never felt as cared for by a veterinarian as i do here. they’re always wonderful and my cats actually look forward to coming in.

I just moved to Nanaimo and had to look for a vet for my cat, Lazarus. Dr. Drinnan was very helpful with finding a medication best for my cat's needs. I also had assitance from Dr. Maggs when my cat developed sneezing. Each time both veterinarians gave us thorough information on options, red-flags to watch out for and really cared for my cat. I felt very informed and appreciate all of their help! Very nice staff that work there, as well. Highly recommend.

Driving through I had to get my dogs staples removed from a surgery he had back home (Alberta). This clinic made short notice time for me, treated me and my dog Argos like he’s been going there since he was a puppy.They removed the staples and didn’t even charge me for it. Everyone was so nice, professional and amazing to deal with.

I have nothing but incredible words to say about this clinic, from the front desk staff to the vet techs to the amazing vet. Everyone has been so lovely, helpful, honest and never pushes for anything they don't truly think needs to happen. They have great communication, very personal and I just adore the whole team. We brought our cat in who had an upset stomach, Dr. Drinnan was super helpful and attentive and you can tell she truly cares about your pets well-being. The front line staff was helpful and kind as well. The pricing was also very fair. An overall great experience and our cat is on the mend thanks to Linley valley Vet clinic. Will be returning for further veterinary care.

Ive been to a few different vets with my kitty, but Linley valley is the best!! They’re so kind, and always get back to me via email or phone quickly anytime I have any questions or concerns! They go out of their way with their customer service and take excellent care of my kitty Bean! If you’re looking for the best vet in town, it’s Linley valley for sure!!

In twenty years of owning various animals, I have never experienced greater veterinary care than I have with Dr. Maggs and the team and Linley Valley. I can't speak enough good things about the level of care my dog received as well as above-and-beyond compassion and support before, during, and after her recent surgery. The team is ALWAYS smiling and friendly and willing to help. They ease your nerves while taking the time to educate and offer extra help and assistance.
