Not a bad wait at just over an hour this morning. Everyone was professional and friendly and my passport should arrive in about 4 weeks. Note: passport delivered as promised

The employees have no real information to give you. They dont process anything, its basically a mail center. The security guards are old guys on a power trip and painful to watch their interactions with people. And this is our government at work...

Excellent service. Went in for Social Insurance Number (SIN) today and from reviews and experience, I was expecting a huge line. But we reached there at 6:30 and it was just 2 cars (maybe the -35 weather had an impact or people are just in the holiday mood). The security was very helpful from the start and she explained everything and got us arranged in the correct places. We were first in line and they opened the doors at exactly on time and they were well prepared. We didn’t have to wait at all, even without appointment and they had us in and out in 10 minutes! Very impressed and if there is any other Service Canada need, I know where to go! Very happy with all the employees!

Went there today (November 8, 2022). Got there at 7:45. It was cold so everyone waited in their vehicles and lined up at 8:20am. I was first in line but had no appointment. 2 people had an appointment so they went ahead of me. Doors opened at 8:30 & got in right away!! There were probably about 15 people after me so I would get there by 7:45 to be safe & dress warm!! Gave lady my travel date (didn’t have to confirm it or anything just told her) & had filled out renewal form ahead of time. Passport is sent via mail and expected to arrive mid December. I was in around 8:30 am when they opened and done before 9:00am. All in all good experience and everyone there was friendly! Talking to security I would avoid going on a Monday or Friday. Way smoother than downtown though & only about a month wait to receive via mail for a travel date in January.

The security guard is not very accommodating,, we came in to ask for advice on how to apply for a lost pr card,, she told us we have to go down town immigration. I called the service canada number and asked for help,, the lady who answered me was very nice and helpful,, i just hope all of there staff are like her.

It was incredibly organized coming in through the lineup. The way they have things set up is so much smoother than the other government offices and the teller that I dealt with was absolutely phenomenal. She was such a great lady and so efficient. It was actually a great experience. I've always dreaded going down to any of the service Canada offices because it's always being so long and such a nightmare in the past, but honestly this was not bad at all. I will definitely use this one all the time

The wait was long as usual. The guard was giving unlawful directives to people that were standing. He told them to sit down or leave a public area.

There's a lineup outside, no question to that considering we don't have an appointment. But even when you lay dead outside due to the cold, you can't even come in the hallway for a minute to warm up, the security won't let you. And would make sure to let you out even when you ask for just a minute, she is making an excuse that she is only allowed 2 people in hallway. There is a lot of space inside and all I ask is a minute to warm up a bit but she kicked me out. Very rude. A bit of consideration when needed won't hurt.Apart from that worst security woman, the rest of the process is smooth.

West location overview. Line began OUTSIDE 30min before doors open so you may prefer to wait in vehicle. Respectful Security lady screened ppl in line checking if they have appointment & brought those ppl to front of line, well organized.Staff Jolo phenomenal extremely professional & knowledgeable.I discovered I owed $ while accessing my account. The lady at the front kiosk said yes they can process my payment here today- I needed to wait to see an agent in the back … no problem I waited 45 min -1 hour & my name was called. This is where I need to address a situation … my name was called to #4 space & Wednesday March 1st, 23 & this particular female staff was in a terrible mood, no greeting, & dismissive tone. (Centre yourself & don’t call anyone until U have collected your emotions & composed yourself from the previous client interaction ?)No greetingMe: hi Id just like to pay off a balance ^showing her the paper^she replied something like : there’s no way I can do that bcz we’re not revenue Canada. I politely challenged asking “are you sure?” Bcz I think there IS surely a way to pay… I am aware it takes 2-3 weeks to go through… that’s ok w/ me… and the staff at the front kiosk says I can pay here? No?The employee insisted there was absolutely no way she was able to do anything. Appears I was in the wrong place? Dismissive & cold interaction. I reminded her there must be a way to resolve …. Rather then simply apologize for the inconvenience She states “I can’t help you.” (If u can’t assist take some initiative & get me someone who can?) No suggestions of other places I could pay like a bank.I paused, collected my frustration flagged down a supervisor relaying I needed to communicate this interaction so it doesn’t happen to others who have waited an hour.-The supervisor was pleasant, smile on & immediately de escalated my issue with a warm friendly tone of voice. she was helpful & informed her staff member that there actually is a way to pay right here … Further, she was trying to get in the system to show the other staff how to do it -“ I didn’t know we can do that “ she said“ I found that response to be ignorant & lazy. -/ Don’t be afraid to get a supervisor involved if you must.
