Buy Low Foods

I like this supermarket because it has everything I need. It's small enough for me to know where everything is located. The Handicap Parking is near the front door.

Buy low foods for hight Price's. I go shopping all other grocery stores in Nanaimo and know most of the prices for the standard groceries.This store charges at least 30% more on most common products. The fact that it's location is in the neighborhood it's at and charging more for common items makes me wonder what the manager there does wrong. Don't recommend going there...

The only reason I go there is because it’s a 2min walk from my house. Poor customer service overall, no longer carries my favourite gf cakes...An employee by the name of Roland is exceptionally rude and lazy, he insulted me while he watched his coworker do all the work, one night when I had to get dinner late at night. He treats his coworkers terribly

Nicely stocked, clean store that never has many cashier's on shift. But the staff are friendly and there's still next to no wait in line. Overall 4 out of 5 stars.

Staff are great but I feel they need a policy in place to have more cashiers on. No cashier should be left on their own with 10+ customers in line.

I have gone to Buy Low Foods in Harewood since it opened its doors as I like to buy local and I live nearby. I have always had a great experience when being served by their employees until today. I was purchasing coffee cream and broccoli and offered a $50.00 bill for payment of $6.85.. Only other cash in my wallet was change. The cashier seemed annoyed and asked me if I had anything smaller, also mentioning that ‘everyone’ had been paying with large bills today and took up all her cash. I said no and paid with my credit card. She didn’t ask me for my loyalty card and then told me it was too late after I had already tapped my card. I mentioned it was hardly worth the bother for me to go online to do it. Cashier was indignant. I will probably start going to Quality Foods which is also nearby as this experience left me cold.

Wish they had quick item, like milk, eggs, and whipping cream, cream, etcavailable at the front! I almost went to a convenience store, but thought I’d check there. At least it wasn’t busy.

I usually don’t post that kind of comments, but today I had an unexpected surprise. The cottage cheese I bought 12 hours ago (see the receipt) was moldy! And the expiration date was passed!Please Buy low foods team, check the diary products ! That could be food poisoning and dangerous.

A huge thank you to Camden! What an amazing worker! He has an incredible gift for customer service. I will go back to this store because of his kindness, intelligence, patience, and humour! Congratulations to Buy Low Foods for hiring this incredible young person. He made the experience exceptional. Please give him a raise!

Buy Low Sell High? The prices here are absurd. I only see myself going here when I run out of essentials and can't go to Walmart!It isn't a bad store at all but it just doesn't feel reasonableWhy would one pay 8 dollars for a pack of 6 coke bottles when they can get it for 5 dollars elsewhere?I haven't had any bad experience in terms of customer service until now but I can't wrap my head around these prices.
