U-Haul Neighborhood Dealer

The person was an hour late to show up for our pick-up. We were not told about insurance, enviro charge or deposit. In fact we were charged a $100 deposit which is not supposed to be charged when paying with a credit card. We still have not heard back about that even though I have spent hours on the phone. As well the email that was attached to my bill was not mine but probably their own so I would not know that we were over charged.

U Haul is horrible. They called to confirm our rental two days before the move, only to confirm that the truck we wanted was not available. upgraded" us to a bigger truck

Reserved a pickup truck and received email confirmation (see photo.) arrived on site and was told that i did not book a truck, but a cargo van. I asked if i could take the pickup as it was on the lot. I was told it was actually headed to the shop shortly. We said ok and took the van instead. Then the gas level was not correct on the paper vs what the truck actually had. Van was filthy and had obviously not been cleaned. We were then told drop off time was 3pm as per out rental agreement. We showed up shortly after 2:50pm and the office was locked with a sign saying they were on a 30 minute break (no return time listed.) it is 3:40pm and there is still nobody in the office for our drop off. Not to mention the pickup truck is still in the lot so that whole story was a crock. Will not return to U-Haul in Stroud

Guy is nice but they overcharged me couple of times due to their own fault. I had to spend hours with uhaul to correct it.

Although I had a good experience I should have been told about the text message that I would expect after/closer to the return time of the equipment as I was returning the truck after office hours. I returned home and I saw a text asking me to verify equipment which I could not as I was away from the drop off location

Rented a truck from this location on Sunday May 28th. Used the online service to book a 26 ft truck. Got a confirmation email and call that the truck was there ready for me, when I arrived i was told that there was only a 20 ft truck available and that I had already been notified about it- no-one told me that on the phone or in the email that I received. When I returned the truck I made sure it was clean and that the fuel was filled to the same amount as when I recieved it. I did less than 60 km - two days later I receive a charge from them for $72. I got in contact with uhaul immediately over the phone through their customer service department, over a week later they finally sent a generic email saying the extra charge was due to fuel not being filled, I am now having to fight with uhaul to get my money back.Not impressed with this experience at all. Have used many other uhaul locations and never had a problem before.

DO NOT USE THIS UHAUL DEALER EVER!!! I was to pick up my truck tomorrow (fri) at 10am just got a call 7pm from uhaul head office saying no truck Available on Friday, the person before me did not bring back and extended the truck... I lost my mind oh then low and behold a truck is Available in Sutton west for Tomorrow... I booked it I hope its there... I now have to go get it at my expense gas in my truck then extra gas expense in uhaul truck plus time I'm supposed to be moving.... oh they gave me $50 credit!!! Really what is that going to do... worst customer service ever if you want reliably do not ever use uhaul if the other person like mine doesn't bring back and extends the time you're out of a truck they do nothing to help.. UNBELIEVABLE!!!!!

Horrible experience with this U-Haul. Reserved a trailer 3 days before my Oct 17th pickup. Received email confirming the reservation.The guy was 15 minutes late, not a big deal. After waiting for the guy to arrive I found out that they actually double booked the trailer. The guy at the U-Hail was no help and just told me to call customer service. Total waste of my day and all the guys I had lined up to help with the move.

We've used this location multiple times. The truck we wanted wasn't always available but we would always get a free upgrade to a larger truck. I don't believe this problem can be blamed on the location so much as a systemic issue with U-Haul in itself. Otherwise, the customer service is outstanding and it has always been a pleasant experience

The worst... U haul better remove this as franchise to maintain your standards.. booked and confirmed..once I reached the location the shop was closed and the number provided told to simply call u-haul..
