Radisson Hotel Red Deer

Can't even book a hotel room due to the SCAM of a central booking line. First was offered a room on the 16th for 107 a night and after a half hour giving them all my information they then tell me the guaranteed pet friendly om wasn't guaranteed and that they couldn't confirm my booking. Today I called to speak with someone else and was told that now they can guarantee if I pay $50 more a night and an added 25 a night pet deposit. When trying to speak with the manager she not only ignored every comment and concern raised but just kept saying they are with in their rights. THIS HOTEL IS NOT PET FRIENDLY - unless of course you want to double the cost of your stay

The staff is absolutely fabulous! Such kind and considerate people. Very refreshing and campy decor/vibe to the lobby and rooms. Everything was fantastic!

Great Hotel. Very clean and the staff are all extremely friendly! They found us a room on a last minute reservation change and were happy to point us towards some toddler friendly attractions in town. Bed are clean and comfortable, bathrooms are clean and rooms are VERY quiet. Beautiful pool and hot spa area as well! The Planet Fitness downstairs is also very clean, inviting and has all the equipment and stations you'd need!

We recently stayed for 2 weeks due do a wildfire evacuation order in our home town. Included in our group was our 91y/o father & our 62y/o disabled brother. We were treated with respect and dignity by the entire staff. The manager worked hard to accommodate our unique needs with the wheelchair requirements, as we did not have a reservation. We enjoyed great rates, terrific prices on breakfasts & cozy pub style suppers and were extra grateful for the laundry facilities. Walking distance to many fast foods, convenience & liquor store.

This was probably a very nice hotel when it opened. However it's obvious at every turn that the hotel is coasting on its once greatness, it's not run down by any means, but the lack of upkeep shows. The rooms are nice but old. The pool area is nice but again basic repairs. One fountain feature clearly stopped working long ago and now holds the pool cleaning. Would I recommend this hotel? If the price was right yes absolutely. Would I outright suggest it? No.

Rooms were tight, but clean aside from the carpeting which was dingy, needed replaced or cleaned. The beds were very comfortable and cozy The front desk staff were awesome, so friendly and helpful. Our boys thoroughly enjoyed the pool area and the pool toys were a bonus!

The staff are very friendly and careful to check-in throughout the stay to ensure that all is well. The rooms are very clean and can comfortably accommodate a family of 4. It is conveniently located in proximity to food, public transportation, and highways. Great value for cost. Highly recommended for a visit!

For a hotel located amongst a dozen this did not stand out whatsoever. When we came to check-in there was nobody there for at least 5 mins; I even tried calling the front desk and still no one emerged. I decided to go to the bar and the server said someone should be there, and we walked out and then someone emerged from the backroom. On a side note, the bar looked pretty good, there was a pool table too. We were placed in a pet room with wood floor, and the room floor was absolutely disgustingly dirty, to the point where I realized how dirty my feet got and I had to rinse my feet, my white socks turned black at the bottom, and wear shoes in the room. I dont think it had ever been mopped. The chromecast did not work for the first day/night and it seemed like an issue for the front desk staff member to come fix it (he eventually came just to do what we were also doing - i mentioned that the room on the display was a different room and he said that had nothing to do with it - he couldnt fix it and then told us that he would send someone from maintenance the next morning and no one came, we had to call down and even the front desk staff had no idea of the chromecast issue the next morning). The maintenance associate came and he spent about 10 minutes trying to fix it; he mentioned that the tv and chromecast was from a different room and had to be reassigned. They gave one of each of the toiletries for 2 people for 2 nights, absolutely ridiculous. The bathroom sink kept overflowing, and was quite disgusting when trying to use it. The double showerhead although looks like it would have incredible power, had absolutely no pressure. It seemed like an issue when we asked for additional towels and the ones we received wasn't the ones we requested - then we had to ask the cleaning staff and they seemed very reluctant to give us more. The pool and hot tub area was nice and esthetic. The hotel itself was quite nice. The cleaning associate vacuuming the floors was also very friendly and polite.

Showed up Shortly before 7pm, Room was not ready. Was informed that it had not been cleaned as of yet but we could get a double queen room instead. I had a choice when booking between getting a king bed at the radisson or a double queen for cheaper at another hotel and chose the radisson due to the king. Was not going to change rooms. We were told it would be 30 minutes. Asked if we could get breakfast comped due to the issue received an answer of not sure
