Caswell Farm & Wedding Barn

Getting married at Caswell Farm was one of the best decisions we could have made. We really can't recommend Catherine + the Caswell Farm crew enough! If you are considering this as a venue, I highly recommend visiting to see just how magical of a place it is (and of course, choosing it at your venue!). We got married in August 2022 and the entire planning process was made so much easier by Catherine's calm and kind presence. Catherine is incredibly transparent and we trusted her completely (something very valuable to have in a wedding vendor). The venue provides endless options for customizing, we chose to have dinner outside in the new gardens, ceremony on the side of the barn, and dancing inside the barn. No one can stop talking about how beautiful Caswell is, including us! Attached are some photos from out photographer Gabby Riggieri (who we also highly recommend!)

Caswell was first and foremost an incredibly beautiful venue, the fall atmosphere on the farm was everything we were looking for and the barn delivered flawlessly! The Owners were very welcoming and accommodating, allowing us to rearrange all the venue provided accessories (chairs, tables, sofas, whiskey barrels, signage) to suit our needs.We could not have asked for a more beautiful space to celebrate with our friends and family!

We knew Caswell Farm was the place for our wedding from the moment we stepped onto the beautiful property - even though it was January and there was a foot of snow on the ground - and met Catherine! Catherine made us feel completely welcome and she is genuinely honored that couples consider her beloved farm for their special day. Catherine is casual enough to not make you feel overwhelmed, but direct when need be to make sure everything is handled appropriately. Her experience in the industry helped us connect with many of the vendors we needed - and they, too, were fantastic!Come our wedding weekend at the end of June, the property was in pristine condition - having undergone some significant renovations throughout the spring. The Joy Package (access Friday through Sunday) gave us ample time to set up and decorate for both our rehearsal dinner, which was held inside the barn, and our wedding day. Caswell had many of materials we needed (i.e. chairs, tables, signs, games, etc.) and we only had to rent a few additional things for our meals.Overall, the best thing about Caswell Farm is the sense “home” you feel when on the property. The twinkle lights, the vegetable and flower fields, the catalpa tree, and the barn all emit a sense of intimacy and welcome that made it feel like we were in the comfort of our own backyard (though, Catherine’s is much better than ours in reality).

Caswell Farm is beautiful, and Catherine and her team are amazing! We fell in love with the venue the first time we saw it -- the space is laid out so well, creating so many opportunities to personalize it for your event. We were able to DIY the things we wanted to but also rely on Catherine and her team to help with whatever we didn't want to take on (day-of-planning, set-up, etc.). The farmhouse is also a beautiful option for staying overnight. I would highly recommend Caswell Farm to anyone looking for a gorgeous and unique outdoor venue. We would choose it again in a heartbeat.

We got married at Caswell at the beginning of September and it was more than perfect! The venue itself is so beautiful so we really didn’t do much decor because it speaks for itself. We had 135 guests with a tent sent up behind the barn for dinner and our DJ in the barn - it was the perfect set up! The bonfire was also a great addition that our guests loved. Caswell Farm gave the back yard wedding feel we were looking for and all our guests couldn’t stop talking about how amazing the venue was! Having the option to get ready the morning of, and then stay the night at the little house on the property was also such a huge plus for us. Owner Catherine, and day-of-coordinator Nicole, were both so helpful throughout the planning process and day of. Couldn’t have picked a better venue!

Caswell Farm provided the most dreamy atmosphere for our wedding. Vibe was immaculate, staff was on top of it, food was incredible. The garden is so stunning, and everything all lit up is gorgeous! Catherine and Nicole were quick to answer any questions we had! Thank you Caswell Farm for the most magical evening ever!

Caswell Farm is such a beautiful venue with the best team. We got married on august 22 so all the plants, vines, and flowers were very well grown in and pretty. Catherine was great to work with and helped get us in touch with a lot of other venders like barn and table, the bar association and our day of coordinator, Nicole (who was SO helpful). Catherine also helped us with the booking of rentals like the tent, tables and chairs, dishes, the things you don’t think about before planning a wedding. We had the best day and it ran so smoothly thanks to both Catherine and Nicole. Everyone around us was so positive and helpful, we had a great experience.

Such a lovely and charming place. Attended a wedding of est. 110 people and the barn and grounds accommodated the party wonderfully. The barn itself was simple but beautiful. There is a bar area, dance floor, and balcony where I believe the groom got ready. There is a second cottage for the bridal party as well. The garden for the ceremony was gorgeous and they used a tent to seat us all. Too many a big surprise was the bathroom facility, as there were full plumbing restrooms with a little pump sink out front, super cute. They have excellent food, farm to table, with a gorgeous brick oven.I would definitely recommend this venue to others.

I got married at Caswell Farm in early June and could not have asked for a better equipped venue and attentive owner!The layout and ease of the venue allowed both us and our guests to relax and enjoy the day. We were able to utilize the barn for lounge seating, bar service, and dancing while the grassy yard was perfect for games.Catherine was so helpful with our setup -answering questions, providing some advice, and was readily available for setup/take down/day-of.I cannot recommend Caswell Farm enough, if you're in search of a venue, this one should be at the top of your list!

Our experience with Caswell Farm was wonderful. We would not have changed a single thing. The farm is nestled away on a quaint Maine back road, but still close to Portland. Our guests were able to enjoy southern Maine and lodge close by. From the start Catherine understood our vision and helped put it into place. She was happy to offer recommendations but gave us the freedom to make the space our own with personal touches. The farmhouse is cozy and homelike inside and the wedding barn is charming and beautiful. Our wedding ceremony was set up outside in the adjoining field and made a seamless transition to the reception. The venue made for beautiful pictures too! Our day was truly magical, and we are so glad that we chose Caswell Farm for our special day. We recommend it to everyone for any event, but especially a wedding. Thank you, Caswell Farm!
