Best Ginger Beef i've ever had - could be a bit crispier but the meat is so darn tender and the flavour is on point.The dry ribs are amazing and the honey garlic sauce is different but so good. It's a clear sauce and extremely good.absolutely recommend.

3rd time we had from this place in 10ish days while visiting family for Christmas in Winnipeg.Today we had a meal for 6 (GF), wontons and a couple noodle dishes. It was surprising how good and similar GF dishes were to the regular menu, although they do come at steep extra $$ for each dish.The ginger beef was good but thought it could be more gingery and the breaded veal was lacking on its own and the honey garlic sauce wasn't the best combination.The chicken balls had a surprising amount of chicken (vs breading) and the strawberry sweet and sour sauce is our favourite!

We had decided to order from Empress of China and we did so if they had a time and the ordering was seamless and when we picked it up, it was ready at the scheduled time. The ginger beef is incredible. The chicken balls are amazing. Just everything is really good. I highly recommend this place.

100% the worst Chinese food I've ever had. and they sent the wrong food. ordered curry shrimp and they sent shrimp with black bean and garlic sauce. updated from 1 star to 3 because of the customer service. they offered to drive the proper food across the city to us but ended up settling for a refund.

Yesterday was the first time eating inside of the Empress of China Restaurant, as I normally order takeout. Great food as always. The staff were always coming back to the table, making sure we were satisfied. Great food, outstanding employees, and yes, I agreed with the owner that she's beautiful"... she'll make you laugh!"

Always a great experience here! Have been going to this restaurant for a few years now. Service is very good, food is extremely tasty. They use no MSG in the food here and you can tell by the taste and your stomach(MSG makes me feel sick).The owners are very good as well, remembers the whole family from the couple of times that the whole family has been there.Match the no MSG, great taste, friendly owners and staff and you have Empress of China!Highly recommend!

Rice was very dry and had to phone and to phone and ask where my honey garlic sauce was. Food has no flavor, honey garlic sauce no flavor or smell to it, 3rd time trying. Very dissatisfied, not again. I'll stick to what's near me for now on and won't have to waste gas!

I hadn’t been to this restaurant in over 20 years and ordered delivery while visiting my mom. The gluten-free menu was outstanding and everything was very well prepared and delicious—not greasy and heavy. The delivery driver was incredibly kind and appreciative. Highly recommended, especially the ginger beef and lemon chicken.

Visiting my Dad in Winnpeg and asked if we could take him for lunch. He suggested his favorite place so this is where we came. The lunch buffet was excellent! Every thing was fresh, great flavor and no MSG.
