Most of the staff there are kind and very helpful, except for the interaction I had today. Went in to do a return and was told they couldn't do it, understandable. However, when I kindly explained I was not informed there were no returns allowed or see any signs when I was making the original purchase, I was immediately given attitude. She pointed out the smallest sign I have ever seen in my life and told me that it was not their fault I didn't know because it was my responsibility to ask. I then told her the only reason I didn't ask was because usually when a store has a no-return policy, they will tell you before you buy it. She then continued to tell me multiple times that it shows the policy on the receipt but what she has failed to remember is that you receive the receipt AFTER you already paid. If I had known I wouldn't be able to make a return, I would not have spent almost $50 that I will now not be getting back. I also work in customer service, so I know and understand how difficult the field is and I always make an effort to be extra kind and patient. To see this response and the amount of attitude I got after literally saying one sentence to her is just absolutely baffling and quite disappointing. I will not be coming back ever again, and I definitely won't recommend it because now I am stuck with 4 items costing $50 due to the lack of signage, their policy on not having to tell me unless I ask, and the insane amount of attitude I received.

Huge selection of costumes and other spooky accessories.

I have never been treated so terribly by staff at a retail store before! The manager was so unprofessional and rude. I will never support this business or recommend it.

The store manager was awful. I went in to find a costume for my work, they had no changing rooms and we had to try the costumes on at a table in the back half of the store over our clothes. When I was putting the costume on the manager got mad that the costume was touching the ground since it was dirty, then preceded to claim the costume would not fit me and claimed I ripped it. I bought the costume anyways and brought it home to try on anyways. The costume is actually too big and I can’t return it because the manager wrote on my receipt after I “ripped it”. I looked at the inside seems and there’s no way I had ripped it myself by trying it on. Will not be returning to this location.

Fabulous Halloween store, you really feel valued and appreciated as a customer. I'll definitely be shopping here again, can't wait for the stores to open in 2022!

We had gone to the Market Mall location, as stated in another review we had several mugs broken due to poor packaging, not wishing to return there we went to the Lawson Heights location, the staff was once again very friendly. The store was cash only that day, I would have liked a jumping spider or 2 since they were on sale but alas next time maybe. The staff exchanged the mugs although they didn’t have both the same they gave another in it’s place, imagine my surprise when they hold up 2 cups, no bag, and state they are out of wrapping paper and send us on our way, yes I left the store 1/2 laughing 1/2 shaking my head in disbelief.I do highly recommend this store, we have made purchases in the past years with no problems at all.

**Edited review**Well thank you for the reply Gerald :)Let’s just get some things straightened out.. bold of you assume that I am lying about who I am. I would love to come down to either location and show you valid ID of who I am and maybe you would recognize me and see that I am a faithful customer who likes shopping at both locations :). I posted an honest review and just because it’s negative you want to call a returning customer a liar? So now it’s not only the staff but the operator as well who is very unprofessional. I had hoped that a consignment operator would check all the facts before publicly slandering an innocent woman’s name. This speaks volumes about the kind of business that you run and re-enforces my first review. Happy Halloween.I used to love coming here.. would get excited every year and go spend lots of money… but when I find out a staff member that works there likes harassing people on their social media and calling them? That is not professional at all!! I will NEVER support this business as long as she has a job there. And clearly I see there is already bad reviews about this lady.. clearly spirit Halloween needs to get some new staff. Will NOT be supporting this business anymore.

I was in here a couple weeks ago and had a great time with my 2 yr old son. The staff members were awesome and they were not inforcing masks at all.We went back today to buy costumes for our family of 4 - we were ready to spend a fair amount of money. When we came in we were stopped by a staff member saying they have a mandatory mask policy now and that we have to wear masks while in the store.I told them I'm exempt from wearing a mask and that I have 2 young kids that won't wear masks. They said my kids are exempt from wearing masks and are allowed in because they're under 5 years old. I explained again that I'm exempt from wearing a mask but they still denied me service and said we had to leave if I don't wear one.How is that logical? Small kids that are full of germs and touch everything don't have to wear masks but an adult with an exception gets discriminated. I understand the staff were just following orders but if they have an exemption for kids under 5 they should also allow people over 5 who have an exemption too.I'll be making a human rights violation complaint with the Saskatchewan Human Rights Commission.
