Pella Windows & Doors of Edmonton

Had new windows installed in my home a few years and one of them developed a crack in the pane emanating from the edge. This was covered under warranty however they charged me for the labor due to it being just passed the 2 year mark. At the time of installation the sales person told me that if THEY perform the install than they will cover the warranty for labor. This is the first warning, this company is not honest.After my new window was installed, we noticed the new window also has a crack in it emanating from the edge as well. I took pictures and immediately emailed them to disclose what was seen and the response I received was that the crack was not big enough and the warranty has been denied. Obviously this is absolutely unacceptable after paying for a product and service that comes with lifetime warranty.This company is a rip off and does not stand behind the product they sell. Apparently cracks in glass that aren't large enough are good to go and not covered. Beware of positive reviews because the windows themselves seem to be ok, but its the after service and warranty that they sell with their product that their true colors shine. They say anything to get the sale and than take the money and run.Shame on you Pella, if you wont stand behind your product than you shouldn't say you will.

we had original custom sized Pella windows in the home but needed to replace lower level windows to meet egress requirements. they were not the most competitively priced but were the only company to guarantee they would meet the requirements. the custom windows took a little longer than i had hoped to get but met the installation date given and did a beautiful job replacing the windows without any damage to the inside or the outside. the guys worked super hard and fast to get in done in short order. we were very impressed.

Bought a patio door from Pella and told the salesman Rob we wanted a good energy efficient door, he told us that the door we bought was the best they had and will have no issues with it. We have had the door two winters now and it ices up all around the door ( and no the humidity is not high in the house).we have contacted Pella many times about it and they have come out and put cheap weather strip around that has done nothing. After the last call the service department told me to go buy a small fan and direct it at the door to keep the ice and frost from forming(didn’t work). We paid a lot for this door and got a piece of junk, I’ve told them I want my money back and they won’t do it. I was planning on replacing more windows and door but after this I will never buy from Pella and people I know who are looking to replace windows I tell to avoid Pella.

After meeting with Andrew during our Sales Consultation we knew that Pella was the right choice. His knowledge and information helped us choose the right product for our home and budget. Our experience with the installation team was also excellent and everyone who comes to our home comments on how beautiful our new windows look! We would definitely choose Pella again!

We were looking to have a front and balcony door replaced so we went to the Pella showroom to view the products available, we made an appointment with the representative there to get a quote based on our needs. When Rob Gross the estimator came To our house he spent the better part of 2 hours helping us chose a a product that would work.We had to alter our first choice on the front door because Pella would not allow Rob to make the choices we wanted .Rob was very professional and courteous and Pella is a great product unfortunately they could not offer us what we wanted and we chose to work with another company

Had pella install 3 of 4 of my basement windows. One egress. They don't do the concrete cutting you have to hire that out separately, which is kind of a pain but not awful. The widows are of high quality, work great. The wait time was long about 6 months. I ordered in March installed installed in September. Install is where they lost the star for me. My egress window was smaller than what we plan for the hole. So more buck had to be used that needed. The window jam didn't come out flush with the drywall and it wasn't cut properly around the window. Small details but when your paying for a premium product, its expected.

Yesterday, I replaced 3 Pella bedroom windows- large picture window and 2 side windows with fantastic All Weather Windows because my approximately 13 year old right side window failed.From the installation on it had problems and they came in the second year to, shim" it after I saw water puddle on the sill

Another week and still no response!!I received a response to my review asking me to contact them with my name and address (which I promptly did). That was 2 weeks ago. No follow-up. Terrible customer service!!I have been replacing the windows in my home with Pella windows over the last 10 years and have been generally happy with the windows. I replaced my living room window in October and, firstly, was shocked at how much the price had increased. The windows were painted in the factory and there were lots of issues with the painting (nicks, chips, areas that had only 1 coat, etc.). The service person came out and informed me that this was a problem for the contractor who installed it" but that he would deliver touch-up paint so that I could do it myself. Numerous attempts were made to get them to deliver the paint but

From our first interaction with Lauren we were blown away. We were renovating a studio space and needed 2 windows and a sliding glass door. Lauren went above and beyond what we expected. You could tell she cares a lot about the products and her customers. The ordering process was incredibly smooth and even the timeline wasn't bad (COVID considering!). The onsite inspection prior to ordering was so useful. Lauren and Glenn came out and did a fantastic job ensuring we made good choices and they gave us enough details that we could tell we made the correct choice. The workers who did the installation were on time, professional, friendly, and they did a fantastic job. I would 100% recommend Pella to anyone who needs new windows.

Over the last 8 years we have been fortunate enough to have Rob Gross as our sales representative each time we have installed Pella windows and/or doors. Rob is always extremely professional, informative and knowledgeable about all the different Pella products and is incredibly helpful in guiding us in the decision-making with respect to making the right choices for our home. It's always an absolute pleasure to deal with Rob! He always responds to my phone calls right away and is always willing to answer any questions I may have. We will continue to ask for Rob on our future purchases and I would highly recommend Rob, as well as Pella, to anybody considering purchasing new windows or doors. Thank you so much again Rob!
