As a first time mom, it was scary heading into labour and this next phase in life. Pamal was an invaluable resource for me during pregnancy and after birth. I appreciated her no nonsense approach to preparing to bring our first child into this world. Beyond being super honest and helpful about what we do and don’t need in our home to prep for baby, the prenatal classes left me feeling confident and informed about newborn care and self-care. Bonus: we did them at home, just the two of us so i felt more relaxed than I would have in a classroom setting and it was easier to organize with our hectic work schedules. No questions were off limits. I loved that she talked about her own kids and her experience with having a c-section and VBAC. She was honest and upfront about what to expect during delivery and walked me through what to expect if I have an emergency c-section (this really came in handy!). I liked the follow up sheets and texting support too so I could ask other questions as they came up in my final trimester. Her confident yet professional approach helped calm my nerves. After delivery, I wasn’t sure how I was going to feel about reaching out for lactation support but I needed it and yet again, she came through for us. I have recommended her to many of my friends and will continue to do so!
