H&R Block

please stay away from these “tax experts” just got a message from revenue canada that I owe $600 from my 2021 taxes after initially getting a $1000 refund from this garbage location. also paid them $130 for their so called expertise. not to mention having to sit and do my taxes at the front desk by the receptionist whos also a “tax expert” real professional outfit they got here. just use the free turbo tax thats offered online, way more reliable than the uber and door dashers who work here trying to make some pocket change

Turned me down saying they were closing, when I got there 2 1/2 hours before their closing time. Pointed it out to lady and was told it was the last day and to go to a different location. I would understand if they were busy but there was only one other person waiting.

THIS PLACE SHOULD BE SHUT DOWN. Very unprofessional. They literally do not know what they’re doing. If they don’t have an answer they blame the CRA. Totally incompentant. Holds your refund for unbeknownst reasons. Take your business and refunds elsewhere.

Good job doing my taxes but I called last night asking for copies of a couple signed forms,but nobody called me back. Call back today to be told twice they busy with a client. Shouldn't it be I call you back once I'm not busy. Hour later I call back being told multiple questions like when did you get your taxes done. Who cares. Better customer service!

When they booked my appointment they put in under another person with the same name even though I had told them I had never used H & R Block before. That took 20 minutes to clear up.The representative barely spoke to me for the entire appointment. He shuffled papers around constantly not actually doing anything with them. Told me to sign documents without informing me what they actually were or explaining what they were when I asked. Told me it would cost the full price, $140 to file my taxes until I questioned it and only then did he mention a promotion he could offer to only pay $69.99.Continued to do something" on his computer and then proclaimed he was done and told me I owed money. I was shocked and asked for an explanation but all he repeated was that he entered everything correctly pointing at his screen that was so small I couldn't read anything.This was my first experience with H & R Block and it will be my last. Worse customer service I have ever experienced."

Ladies were really nice and welcoming, there wasn’t any other customer so they helped me right away.

Not helpful at all, I estimated my taxes with Ufile and it said I would get a return. When I went here, I would end up owing. How is that possible? I think it's incompetently and under training. She even tried to boast that ufile was wrong, throwing it back in my face without explaining why. I highly recommend you take your info elsewhere

Do not come here if you are filing taxes as an independent contractor. You will not get the most of your return.. I made the mistake of coming here and ruining my taxes for 2021. Now I must wait for an assessment that is in-correct to update or make any changes. Not only that, they charged me 325 for a very rushed inaccurate file. The woman named Disi was not knowledgeable and did not know which documents could be included and had to ask me. Why do you work at H&R block if you don't know or can't educate your customers ??Once following up and requesting a Refile, they say i MUST wait for the assessment to be over and then recommended me to go to a DIFFERENT H&R block to make any updates.. I am unable to Refile myself on CRA because my phone is in a repair shop and they text me a verification code to access my CRA account online.An absolute circus show going on there, if you do not want your time and money wasted, I highly suggest going to local tax people that actually care and value their profession.

I love this place. I've filed here last year as well, at this location. They are quick and accurate with your tax return. I was able to sit and wait til she entered my figures and went to do an errand in the mall and returned to a cheque printed for me all ready. In and out in less then an hour.
