I trained here 14 years ago and was very impressed by the way Sensei Dixon taught. He is very clear and concise and doesn't waiver from traditional techniques. I recommend this Dojo for adults or kids.

After many years of training with Sensei Dixon, I am comfortable giving his dojo my highest recommendation. Not only does he train you in the fundamentals of classical martial arts, but the CMAC Gojo style is also very applicable in today's MMA world. It's an ideal blend of tradition with practical use. I've traveled the world with this group, made friends for life, and learned an invaluable art. Ous.

Waste of money. My child had a terrible experience at this dojo. Excessive fees, arrogant head teacher who pushes his products onto kids/parents. Look for alternatives.

Our family has been training at the Dojo for three years and it has been life changing. Sensei Dixon is an excellent instructor. He tailors his classes to match the skill level of the students and the Dojo feels like a community.

Spent a couple years here and I've found that the dojo was very cult-like and the instructor felt really full of himself, which is really contradictory to what is core to fundamental Japanese beliefs. If you are looking for a McDojo then this is your place. If you are looking to practice authentic Gōjū-ryū karate and improve your mental well-being while doing so - look somewhere else.

Excellent dojo and instructors. I have trained with Sensei since 1992 when I first started learning Karate as a university student, and have continued my journey with this organization for 27 years. In my travels, I have experienced different martial arts styles under different instructors while simultaneously training with this organization, so I believe I have a well rounded perspective on various styles and instructors. At 47 years of age, I can confidentially say that I have learned the most from this organization, and I highly recommend this group for anyone who is looking for practical and disciplined training through quality instructors at a very reasonable price. This organization puts training first, and the quality shows.

The CMAC dojo offers traditional Goju Ryu karate training experience that is full of life and uniquely entertaining energy. I've trained at a couple of different dojos, and this one is something special. The people are great, and all of the senior students are exceptionally helpful and dedicated, although Sensei Dixon teaches all of his classes himself. For myself, CMAC Beaches dojo has changed my life in a very positive way, and whether it does the same for you or not, it is still a wonderful place to learn karate.a

I have nothing but incredible things to say about this Dojo and Sensei Dixon. I started training here about 12 years ago and am so grateful for all my time spent there. Speaking as someone who has trained here ever since I was a kid, I can truly say I would recommend this Dojo to anyone looking for some amazing Martial Arts training, for both kids and adults! Thank you so much for everything!

I have been a member for many years and have found the training energizing and confidence building. Plus the extra-curricula seminars and trips have always been creative and mind expanding.

Sensei Dixon exemplifies what “budo” truly means, not only in his teachings, but most importantly, in his life. As the senior director of the organization, he has led with unparalleled loyalty and the utmost humility. He continues to be a great example to the students of his dojo, and the organization as a whole, by training regularly, taking on new challenges, writing books, and supporting all the directors of the organization. It is a great honour to be part of the organization with Kyoshi Dixon as its senior. Ous!
