Simplex Equipment Rental

If I could, I would give 0 stars to this Simplex. I visited this location yesterday morning with an electrician and my electrician only spoke English. The receptionist became rude and proceeded to tell him that his pronunciation was incomprehensible, and that she couldn't understand him at all. She said that she would not serve us in English and I told her she should be able to serve clients both in English and French, she proceeded to scream that she would only speak French since we are in Quebec! She proceeds to call her manager that doesn't know a word of English either and they proceed to scream that they won't serve us and kick me out. Simplex should hire people with basic decency that are willing to be patient to accommodate BOTH ENGLISH AND FRENCH customers and not 2 people that refuse to speak nor know how to speak English!

Great service and better prices for renting some of the equipment than their competition. Recommend!

I found what I am looking for but they didn't accept me as well because I don't have my credit card in my hand but I have all my information on my cell phone anyway I went to home depot beaubien and they accept me as well. what I have to say to bad ,and I am an old customer it's not the first time I rent from simplex equipment

Super helpful staff and nice, i was very worried at the beginning since I've read the reviews but everything went amazingly.

Very bad experience and never again,I went to rent a drain opener (fish) for one hour from the location at Hyrmus Boulevard and that was at Friday 4:30 pm, so the sales person tell me they are closing at 5:00, and I have to pay for the full day and bring it back next day and the charge is $70 I have no choice, so I accept that, and he didn't say anything else,Next day I went to the place to return the machine at 2:00 pm and I found out they are closing at 1:00 on Saturday and close completely on Sunday, so I kept the machine in my car and returned Monday morning and the guy there charged me for three days for $210:00, and he spoke with me in a very bad way, so I paid $210:00 for one Hour use of machine not worth that money even if I buy it. ..

Ask that they teach you about the machine if you do not know how to use it. good service

Extremely disorganized. It took several tries to explain what I needed and had to go to two locations to pick up everything. After everything was done they actually managed to lose equipment after I returned it but didn't say that, they only called a month later and demanded my credit card so they could charge a fee for the missing tank .

The equipments are good but the service is ripoff i told them straight to there face .. they give you something and they will never tell you your renting by the hour not by the day so i ask for straps for 2 days i took it luckily i didn't use it because my friend had a good dolly and we used it so i bring mine back at 3pm to return and they say 72$ dollars and the guy told me before its 49$But i told them i rented it for 2 days he said too bad i ask to speak to manager and they just laughed this is the kind of service that you don't want to have ,.. my advice if there is any other place that rents with better service im definitely will go there no need people to steel your money and laughs too at you

Never made it to the store since I felt I was inconveniencing the individual that answered the phone when I called. I'll update my review if I ever have face to face dealings with them.
