B&C Custom Landscapes

B&C landscaping totally transformed our gardens!We let our weeds get out of control last spring and the B&C crew came and took care of all the weeds and layed mulch down for us.I completely fell in love with my backyard again.Since writing this review, we have had B&C landscaping back to do our driveway. They did an amazing job. They dug out the grass and gave us a gravel driveway.

They were very friendly and got the work done in less than a day. They solved all of the drainage problems we were having in our yard and were very friendly. Highly recommend!

I am reluctant to write this review because Craig genuinely seems like a nice guy, however, for the price I paid I am not satisfied with the work done. I hired B&C last summer to fix up the property after having a patio/sidewalk done. The grass is super patchy and won’t grow. They also did try charging me for hours they weren’t there (hrs invoiced vs camera footage at home), they had fixed that discrepancy after I brought it up. I have recently caught Craig working at my neighbors and showed him the grass which he said looks to be crab grass, he said that he would have it fixed. It has been nearing 2 months now and nobody has showed up.

This team was always prompt, courteous and determined to make sure my outdoor space was perfect. Running a bed-and-breakfast requires the management of a lot of moving parts and knowing who you can count on is a critical part of that. The crew had all the equipment and tools necessary and the skills to use them.

Got a quote before the snow was even gone last year for a relatively small side yard job. (sub 500sqft off stone work and a kidney shaped dirt mound that I was going to plant myself). They came back with what I thought was high-ish quote for the job, estimated at 2 men for around 10 hours apiece. Fine, they seem to do good work so I told them to go ahead.Months go by with nothing. Finally locates roll in and I was looking forward to the work being done last summer. Then the email - without coming back by the house, they said they couldn’t honour the original quote because it was prepared by someone without much experience (odd because one of the owners came out and did the measurements himself) and they tripled the quote, changing it to a 4-man job for a full week. Completely bogus for the scale of this area. 4 guys could do it in a busy afternoon.I suppose it was their way of telling me that they didn’t want the job anymore, but it wasted the entire year for me. By then, it was far too late in the season to hire anyone else. Really disappointing way to do business.
