All of the ratings are brief, some of them are harsh some of them are good. I’m gonna tell you from a first experience, sylapps saved my life I am more grateful for this place than any other place in the world, I had an amazing six months there and I have come out new person and it’s all thanks to the amazing staff at cottage 7 thank you so much for all you’ve done for me I highly appreciate it.

Was there in 2000 they haveBe a high school a basketball called sylapps thunder that play schools in Oakville we never lost a game btw they have good food teachers and staff just like summer camp but with great life skills help and overall best youth detention center in Canada

Hated it here, was in the secure treatment side, they did more harm than good, staff was rude and this place needs to be shut down

I loved this place I was there may 2011 to march 2012 and looking back it was the best time of my life. I miss my old caseworker, he probably doesnt work there anymore...

So harmful for teens that are already struggling badly. There need to be some staff changes. I know multiple people that have come out of this place with PTSD and cannot even handle being in this city because of that. They feel so unsafe all the time.
