The team really had my best interests front and centre! They stayed on top of everything and really made the whole process easy to understand. I felt like I always had an ally, even on my toughest days.

Where to start?This was a firm where new personnel was constantly being added and others leaving (without warning). There were significant continuity issues being stretched between multiple coming-and-going employees, which resulted in a lot of duplication and redundant costs at my expense.As a consequence, unnamed employees working for the Shulman firm failed to properly execute disclosures, or file important documents. Ultimately this resulted in me having to pay costs to opposing counsel for a delay in disclosure. Disclosure which was sent to Shulman firm 7 months prior.Additionally adding duplicate costs to have much of the same work redone.Attempting to deal with Ron Shulman directly (initially) resulted in him sending an unauthorized email to my counsel attempting to poison the client/counsel relationship. Any issue is quickly deferred to the employee directly and takes no accountability as the owner/operator of the firmAccountability is needed when there are errors, instead of adding costs to question said mistakes.Too many issues to raise on one review board.***response****This is the first I’m hearing of an offer for a phone call. Please forward any correspondence which indicates an offer of a phone call had been made, and not just a game of optics to cause others to infer you’ve tried to remedy this issue.Furthermore to the issues of no accountability-An employee breached my privacy by sending a document to opposing counsel. The document contained personal, medical information. Opposing counsel then used said information to seek even more disclosure (adding to more costs).When I addressed the breach of privacy and leaking out medical information to Ron Shulman, his response was again, to address it directly with my lawyer and was not interested in rectifying to breach of privacy, or even so much as to explain what will be done to prevent similar errors happening to other potential/existing clients.“The firm simply bills for the time (my counsel’s name) and his team working on your file. The work was directed and overseen by your lawyer,…”Ron Shulamns position is clear. Being lied to via telephone vs email, has no added benefit worth exploring.

My first exposure to Shulman and Partners was very early in the morning and found someone in Text Chat ready to help. I’m always a little Leary about these but this felt different.I had received a call in the morning once their office opened from Jackie Cover.She was empathetic and listened to my story. I apologized for being so long winded. She was extremely helpful and the reason why I engaged with the firm.I was connected with a Lawyer Diana the same afternoon where she listened to me and connected me to Sabrina.I think where I was most impressed, which was lacking in other firms I reached out to, was they engaged immediately the same day and came back with the plan.When someone is drowning and at the shore they say “I’ll try to fit you in next week or the week after” it is too late. It was a good experience under the circumstances of getting a divorce. The firm is knowledgeable and was able to help in a timely manner. Going through a divorce during COVID had its challenges and most firms were not helpful. But these guys were great.
