Trained at Franks for years in the 90’s. Frank, Billy, Gasper, Jimmy, Blake, Mike McDonald...just a great bunch of guys and a fabulous place to train. It’s nice to see that Frank’s is still going strong. I don’t know of any other gym that’s been around as long as Franks, which speaks volumes. I hope to visit Franks again someday when I’m back in Edmonton.

Frank Lee's Gym has an amazing learning environment. Very friendly trainers, Frank himself is a very energetic teacher. Your mates and teachers feel like family. Classes are packed with knowledge and are so much fun. Beginner classes are 3 days a week for 1 1/2 hr. The gym itself has been around for 41 years and is well maintained. If you want to learn Muay Thai I highly recommend this establishment.

Filthiest gym in Edmonton. I got a staph infection while I trained there. Washrooms are disgusting, mirrors splashed with sweat are never cleaned, equipment is never sanitized. Facility is in disrepair from years of neglect. Owner sprays air freashner around before classes to try and hide odours. Coaches are clicky. Better gyms in town.

Best Muay Thai in Edmonton. Trained here nearly a year and loved every second of it. If you want to learn proper technique, be pushed, evolve, this is the place to be. The coaches remember you and provide critical feedback. The atmosphere is next level, you actually feel like you're in a kickboxing gym, but everyone is very kind. I would continue going if i wasn't currently in school. Only dislike is it isn't like most gyms with treadmills & weights (though they do have a small weight section), this is mostly strictly class-based learning, and it can be cramped on a very busy day.

If you want to learn how to fight and compete, come to Franks. Best gym in western canada by a long shot, the history of the gym speaks for itself giving a real pro feel. I’ve trained muay thai in thailand and what Sifu Frank teaches is light years ahead of anything I learned over there. 5 stars isn’t enough for this place.

I LOVE training here and it's welcoming for girls. It can be a bit intimidating at first but the instructors here cares about proper technique and ensuring you push yourself to achieve your goals.

I tried this place while on vacation in edmonton since I train Muay Thai usually at my uni in the UK. Really high level training and friendly people and I'm still using moves I learned here to a high effect. Only issue is that it is very expensive or at least was for a single session ($25) but if any place would be worth it, this would be the place!

I've been to a few gyms in Montreal, Edmonton and I can tell this one is really good. They care about the technique a lot, which is important. There are 3-4 instructors, not one, so you are constantly getting feedback. Before coming to Frank Lee's I've been to another gym in Edmonton where I was treated like I was buying a used car. There were trying to talk me into signing one year contract. At Frank Lee's no pressure, monthly, 3-months etc options.Another point, is that I haven't seen gyms with so many advanced fighters in one place.
