The white lady there called joy does not know the products very well and is very rude and hostile. How would a front desk person hang up on a customer??? You really need to train her on how to have good customer service because this is ridiculous. It’s not worth loosing potential customers…

On several occasions, they have sold expired food items to me and people I know (sometimes the food had expired by years, not even a few days or months). When brought to their attention, they tell you with the biggest attitude that they are intentionally making the decision to because 'Nigerians don't care for expiry date, and they will not be throwing out the expired items'.On two occasions when I ordered food from the restaurant, they gave me bread with a lot of moulds in it.I wouldn't buy from the restaurant for the sake of my health, I could buy from the grocery store but with a lot of caution - I would check the dates twice because they really don't care for your health or safety.Customer service is quite poor, very rude attendant but if you can manage to ignore, you'll be just fine.

I believe they also own Akin Restaurant; I was dissatisfied with their services, but I didn't mind and decided to try their store as well, only for them to sell me expired Indomie; I tried returning it, and they said they could not refund it; it was final say. Logically, some foods in their restaurant are prepared with expired products.All I can say is that they sell expired products. Make sure you check the expiry date even before leaving the store.

A very big African store. They have so many things on display. Just be sure to check the expiry dates of items before paying. I got somethings, paid for them, and then out of curiosity, checked the expiry date before leaving the store, only for me to discover that 60% of the items had expired. I had to return them immediately, plus the store attendant isn't friendly or nice at all.

This is an awesome place to shop, for international food, clothing, hair products and household items. The staff are amazing and the owner is wonderful to transact with. Give it a try and you will be happy you did!

Amazing selection of food and items not available in many other places around Winnipeg. Family owned and well taken care of. Solid prices as well.

I was looking for a hot comb and other essentials, found what I needed and both of the women who work here are so friendly and were very helpful! I'm definitely coming back!

Good enough for selection BUT the white Lady at reception has the most terrible hostile attitude! Her attitude is so Bad, it can’t be explained. You need to experience it to understand.If this business ever shuts down, just know it’s her terrible customer service!So many complaints but still no changes . I’m NEVER COMING BACK JUST BECAUSE OF THIS LADY
