341 MacLaren Executive Apartments

This is a great building! It's well managed, well kept, the staff are friendly and accommodating. They have made me feel very welcome. The apartments are tiny (and no storage), but the building has lots of amenities to keep you occupied. Recommend!

Stayed for a year in bachelor unit. Very nice location in downtown. Management is fine. Well equipped with gym, laminate floor (or carpet if you want) and play room downstairs. Dishwasher was a life saver. Stopped providing internet in the middle of my stay (with announcement like 4 months ahead though). Manager could be a little harsh on bad behaviours like dumping large trash through the chute, but I think that's good for those who are respecting the rules. The construction was annoying even if it is previously announced. Thankfully it didn't last too long (but was long). They should really take a break during the weekend. Rent is NOT too high compare to the famous student apartment (which is also better equipped though)

The facilities are good, perfect location, convenient walking distance to downtown. The only very frustrating service was the internet connection. The term high speed internet" is misleading and false

Overall a nice building. The biggest drawback for me was the small size of the unit. The management could be a little curt but honestly if you are respectful and nice they open right up and are happy to help.

Nice and clean place. Very clean laundry. Great location. Close to grocery and buses. WiFi is not the greatest and no storage though. Also took too much effort to rent the place.

vacant rooms went through construction during my stay. Very loud noise from 7am - 2pm Monday though Friday. No mention of this from staff or compensation from lack of living standards.(100 percent not worth the expensive price tag). Very unpleasant and unprofessional.

My girlfriend and I went to view these apartments while looking for a place to live next year. There are amentities (gym and movie theater), and the rooms are a decent size. However you can tell that the apartments used to be a hotel in their layout. The place is a little too dark (not enough natural sunlight) but the view is awesome. If it were a little cheaper I would definitely live here

Coming from Toronto I was dreading the process of finding and applying for an apartment in Ottawa. I had heard of this building through a friend and contacted management through the website to arrange a viewing. Within 24 hours I got a call back and was able to arrange a visit at my convenience. Louisa was very friendly and accommodating to my needs and helped make the process smooth and painless. Definitely worth checking out for any young professional or student.

Good cozy apartment. Enjoying everyday by staying there.

I stayed in a one bedroom furnished apartment for a month. The bathroom was the smallest I've ever seen. Other than that, the apartment was a typical one bedroom unit. My mom was with me for a week and we got the guest room which was just amazing. I would say that their guest room is as good as if not better than hotel rooms. The staff are not very friendly and they spent two weeks (half my stay) telling me the telephone that should be in the unit will arrive in two days and they seemed to be bothered every time I went to ask them about it. The location is good if you want to be close to downtown but I believe that the photos on their website are a little bit misleading.
