A gem of a town and a wonderful place to hang up your snowsuit. Drove up the ice road from Fort McMurray to explore our region more and was pleasantly surprised and how wonderful Fort Chipewyan is. Lily on Wylie is a excellent place to stay while in town, it is clean, bright, warm and cozy. The kitchen is fully stocked with all the utensils you need to make a gourmet meal and every room is well appointed with a bathroom and cozy bed. The location right on the lake, and from what I can tell in photos, on the beach is amazing. Sunset in January is from 2pm - 4:30 and is simply breathtaking. My wife and I will most certainly be making this a more frequent trip!

I stayed here when it was just opening so if things have improved, then you're in for a treat. The rooms were nice and cosy (I went in winter at -40C and it was still nice and comfy inside) and the view was breathtaking.

I wrote to these folks asking for pricing and asking for information about exploring some of the nearby waters. I can understand not wanting to provide tourist info, but some kind of response would have been nice. On the other hand two other organizations (not B & B's) in the community failed equally to even acknowledge communications. Weeks later I wrote 2nd emails to all saying I'd made plans to go elsewhere: no response. Maybe a Google review might awaken a response?

Lovely little b&b. Quiet, clean, very comfortable and a beautiful view of the lake to enjoy your morning coffee.

Nice place to stay. Lake front. I am sure in summer the view would be spectacular. The provision store at a walking distance (Northern) is expensive compared to K'ai taile store a little further away. Nearby gas station has decent lunch between 12 PM and 2 PM. However, this cafe service not available on Saturday and Sunday.
