Dr Yap and his staff are fabulous. Dana is great as you come in the door. She always acknowledges you with a smile. The office is clean and comfortable! All the hygienists are fabulous, gentle, kind and explain things well. Dr Yap is an amazing dentist. I have had several dentists say that all my fillings need replacing but Dr Yap said they were fine as we could replace them as needed. This is huge to me!

Dr Yap and his staff are so polite and happy! They make you feel welcome and always are smiling. How awesome! My kid (which is 5 atm) LOOOVES Dr Yap and thinks he is very nice. The hygienists are also awesome and do an excellent job, every time. I just wish there was less wait times for repairing procedures. Waiting 3+ months for a repair is not the best. Overall - I love this dental practice

To anyone looking for a permanent dentist.. get on the waitlist for this Dentist. Himself and his staff are excellent and everyone in this small town knows it. Extremely knowledgeable and charismatic. The dentist will give you all the options available and is very accommodating to working with those who have limited access to funding ie: can help book appointments and dentist plans according to insurance/pay day dates :D

With a huge amount of anxiety both from childhood trauma and from recent visits to another local DDS, I had to see someone to fix a fixed tooth that was giving me severe grief. The staff were amazing, and Dr. Rogoschewsky was incredibly patient and gentle. Finally a dentist I trust wholeheartedly!

Dr. Yap is hands-down the best dentist in Port Alberni! One thing I value especially is that I never feel as if I am just an object moving through the various phases of treatment. He is so willing to communicate about options, treats his patients as equal human beings, can freeze your mouth without your even feeling a pinch of pain, and brings such a sense of optimistic happiness to the whole experience. And the support staff are as pleasant and connected as he is. I truly appreciate my dental experiences with this team.
