Market Road Antiques

Market Road Antiques is a fantastic place to visit for antique lovers in Waterloo, Ontario. The store is enormous, with a vast array of items for sale, including vintage furniture, rare collectibles, and many other old things. Exploring the store is an adventure in itself, with so many unique treasures waiting to be discovered.While some prices can be quite high, there are still many reasonably priced items available. Additionally, it's worth noting that there is a lot of free parking available, which is always a bonus in busy areas.Overall, Market Road Antiques is a must-visit destination for anyone interested in antiques. The store offers a unique shopping experience, with so many items to choose from, and there are plenty of reasonably priced items available, making it a great place to find one-of-a-kind treasures.

I have been coming here since I was a child and have previously loved it, but since the change in management it has really gone downhill. I bought a Wii that was not working (although it had a “Tested and Working” sign on it) and they said they could not return it without the vendor’s permission. The rent prices that they charge vendors here is astronomical which results in higher prices, yet they still can’t manage to keep enough staff working at one time. Do better.

Great place to browse. I always find something unique to buy. Very helpful staff.

I'll preface this review by saying that this was our 4 year olds choice. He is obsessed with anything old, specifically toy cars, so we decided to go here and try our luck.The amount of old things here is vast, some really cool antiques, some hidden gems and great deals. I'd say some items are priced outrageously, but some others are very competitive.There are still plenty affordable items here, so if you want to buy something neat without breaking the bank, you shouldn't have a problem.I'm sure next time we're here, we'll stop in again and check it out.5/5.

Fantastic service. Many great stalls, with a lot to explore. But our favourite is stall 24, which includes a small selection of wooden furniture (on any given Saturday, you might find a couple of kitchen islands, 2-3 benches and a few shelves with hooks) crafted by this gentleman Bill, who drops off new pieces about once a week. Super affordable. We love our new island and bench.

What an amazing place for antique collectors to all kinds of collectabes ... from glass, crystals, books, cloth stamps, jewelry arts furniture, coins, old records, and even early comic editions. I was really fascinated with the displayed items while walking through the aisles. This place is a museum of history and the good thing, you can buy a piece of history with discounts on all items. It's a place that must be visited when you are in Waterloo

Worst service I have ever experienced. If you want something from one of the locked cabinets, I wish you luck.I asked for some assistance at the front desk, and the nice lady radioed someone. I waited nearly 15 mins, and then watched as he got sidetracked by another customer. Fair enough. I waited patiently till they wrapped up. I then said Excuse me

Great finds! Really big, lots of vendors. Between this and the st Jacobs antique market next door, I'd say this is bigger and slightly more focused on more antique items rather than just vintage. More furniture, especially teaware, but you'll find some overlap in both.

One of the largest antique shops in Ontario with tens of vendors. There is something for everyone. Not sure, but got a strong feel of focus on dinnerware. Prices very from reasonable to internet ones; depending on vendor. During this visit, most vendors had Spring specials. Easy to navigate. Enough staff to help out.
