They actually let you pay with cash still...... This will be my spot. Again. And it has very nice stalls with lots of trees.. You actually get some privacy.. Well done.

Not to take away from previous caretakers but Tina and Ron are doing an excellent job of making sure your stay here is absolutely relaxing and enjoyable. They and their family go out of their way to take care of you. We have been regulars at this campground for 5 years and highly recommend staying here this year in particular. Sincerely hope they return in years to come.

The camp attendants were really nice and the sites were nice and secluded. They were really good size sites. The down side was there were so many wasps and hornets in the sites that we couldn't really enjoy during the day. The park by the beach" was overrun by red ants. There was no beach at all. You had to walk half a mile through long grass and trees to get to the water

Nowhere to easily access potable water for RVs. I witnessed other campers settle for the hoses for rinsing sewage hoses of RVs. The sewage dropoff area has random bolts sticking out of the ground and nearly took out my toes. Also, no such thing as quiet time. Parties were held until 3:30 in the morning. There was junk left everywhere. Also no paper in the washrooms. Was not an enjoyable experience

Me and my boyfriend stayed here every and never had a problem till a few weeks ago… the people across us were loud and partied till 2:30 am when i tried to call the attendant there was no answer so i called the rcmp my boyfriend tried to call the attendant and the person answered … both rcmp and attendant arrived at the same time … the attendant said i should have called called her first and i replied i did you were the first person i called and then they replied “no you didnt”… pretty much got called a liar to my face wont be going back if thats the treatment i get for wanting a peaceful night sleep

Wonderful staff but the lake is dead. The showers that are provided will peel your skin off you cannot control the water temperature. Very nice sites though nicely mowed grass sites

I love this campground. Have been coming every season for the last 3 years. Only issue this time around is that we couldn't into the lake due to algae.

Be sure to bring your bicycles! Fun to check out the multitude of trails, ride to the lookout for the panoramic view of Muriel Lake. This is a favorite camping destination for us. Private well-treed stalls, large firepits, large picnic tables (see picture). Recommend scouting the campground for your favorite stalls, as they are all unique! And Caretaker Tina is a phone call away to help with any questions.

Quite enjoyed our stay here. They have so many marked trails and they were so fun to go on. When we went it was a bit wet on some of them so we couldn't go down some but that's not the park's fault. Sites are very nice and hidden. We did have quite a few mosquitoes but that's the time of year. Also, the walk to the beach is a bit far and it's kind of small but we enjoyed ourselves doing walks and trails. Would definitely recommend.

I almost didn't want to review this campground only because I want to keep it a secret! We stayed August long and it was nearly empty. The sites are so treed and private. We didn't use any of the amenities with the exception of the outhouses, which were clean! Our site was fairly level, probably the least level of all the ones I walked by, but it was still no problem. I recommend this campground mostly because you can't see your neighbour's and it was so quiet and lovely!
