Dropped my work boots off to Remy for repair and I was astonished by the quality of work he does I will definitely be bringing all future repairs to him. He is an honest man and will let you know if it's worth fixing. I will recommend The Cobbler to everyone I know that needs shoe or leather repair.

This shop is a feast for the eyes…so artfully arranged inside that I knew I could trust my old beloved boots with them. I was not disappointed! They are like new. I’m extremely happy with the work, and the quick turn around. I’ve heard it’s sometimes difficult to catch them open, but I called ahead and the process was very simple. Again, I’m thrilled with my boots!

Can’t say better things about Remy. I wear dress shoes everyday for work and on my first visit to The Cobbler I brought in a pair of my favorites and he was super honest with me, he’s like:“I can fix these but it’ll cost almost as much as if you just went and bought a new pair. Let me give you a card to call Johnston Murphy see if they can find you a pair just like this and if they can’t bring these back and I’ll fix them.”Super honest businessman, he’ll have my business forever now.

MORE THAN JUST SHOES! Remy can do it all.My favorite necklace with a lace leather strap sat broken in my closet for about 10 years, until I met Remy. He is not only an amazing craftsman but also a really fun person to talk to. Always a fun time visiting the Cobbler. Great prices too! Grab your broken things and check him out in Eastown at The East Building. Highly recommend!

It's getting harder to find a shoe repair shop in GR, but thankfully I found Remy, owner of The Cobbler. I brought two pairs of shoes in for repair; he took care of one of them immediately, and repaired the other within days. He is a craftsman who obviously takes pride in his work, and his shop decor is amazing. I would highly recommend him for any shoe or leather repair. Note: His shop is located off Wealthy SE on Norwood Street, behind Wolfgang's Restaurant in Eastown. Use the entrance about halfway down the line of shops and walk down the stairs, The Cobbler shop will be on your right.

I purchased a pair of Mezlan shoes in St Petersburg Florida. I wore them a couple of times. The soles were completely destroyed. Remy (The Shoe Doctor), repaired them to excellent condition.I traveled to Grand Rapids from Bridgman MI to go to The Cobbler. It was well worth the trip. I will, in the future return to The Cobbler for my leather repair needs.

Real friendly service - and did a great job repairing the loops that had ripped on my favorite boots. Repairs were timely and they were nice enough to send me a personal text when finished. Will be returning for any future repairs.

I wanted to give a shout out to Remy at The Cobbler in Eastown for the fine work he did on my Red Wing Blacksmiths and R Watson Western Ropers! Killer work and cool shop. I’m super happy to be wearing these again (and sorry I wore them before taking the pic)
