Ordered the banquet burger, fries, and Cherry Shake. The shake was tasty. but not as thick as I was anticipating. It was easy to drink through the straw at once. The shake I'd give a 3.5 out of 5 for taste and mouthfeel.For the banquet burger, I was pleasantly surprised by the bacon and the juiciness of the burger. The bacon looked like it was pre-cooked in the oven to remain flat and it overhung the burger. The meat was a nice sized patty, around 5oz cooked, and although there was no pinkness inside the meat, it was juicy. (Probably used a cover on the grilltop with water to steam it and melt the cheese.) Burger I'd give a solid 4 out of 5.Fries were cooked well, crunch factor good, and a nice portion size. Fries a 3.5 out of 5. My only" issue is the same that I experience in most establishments here in Manitoba

Great food--GF options, warm inviting staff and customer base. Reasonably priced. Only drawback is the wait time (but the food is better because they don't rush!!)Only thing they need to improve is more staff, so support them!

Was in town for a few days working at the plant and ate here every day. The owner is east Indian so I mostly stuck to that portion of the menu since I figured that was his wheelhouse. I tried the dal makhani, Chana masala, and mutter paneer and all were absolutely delicious. If you like spicy make sure to ask for the hot sauce he makes and add it a little bit at a time, it's intense. The naan bread was always perfect as well with bits of crispy, bits of soft, perfect for dipping.I also tried the fried chicken dinner with soupe, mash, veg, coleslaw and gravy. The chicken on its own was nothing special, a tad bland but was def cooked properly; crispy, fresh, and hot. The gravy was delicious and def tasted homemade which kicked the chicken up a notch. Turkey Barley soup was a homerun and tasted as good as any my mother ever made. Mash and veg, basic, but cooked perfectly and the coleslaw was great too.Lastly, the pie. Man the pie is so good. Made fresh regularly and it shows. I ordered the cherry pie (a full one) after trying my co workers. Not too sweet, great crust, a little tart. Obviously heating it up and adding a little vanilla ice cream takes it over the top.The owner is a really nice guy and seems to enjoy what he does, staff nice as well.Def check them out if you're around this little town .

Absolutely disgusted with the owner, from out of province and accidently parked in their parking lot. Instead of the own nicely speaking with us to move he completely lost it on us including swearing. Advising that the Chinese do not pay taxes. Also threatened us.

Super restaurant!Great staff, friendly and outgoing, super helpful.Doesn't look like much from the street, but it's fantastic.The fish and chips were so very good, great portion too.The butter chicken was good.The tea selection was great and we found a cool new tea flavor.If you are anywhere even remotely near it's worth stopping in.

Driving through town and it looked super interesting! We were more than presently surprised! Home made food and awesome portions. The Indian food looked tremendous , and all our dishes were perfect. The server was really friendly and helpful too! This is worth the drive off the highway if you’re nearby!

Small town diner! The food is typical, hamburgers, chicken, etc but they do have a few Indian dishes that are excellent courtesy of the owners. We spent Valentine's evening there - Prime Rib. The restaurant was decorated with red table cloths, single red roses on each table, etc. We even won a bottle of Prosecco. Nice touch!

Great restaurant in Minnedosa. First time there - a local had recommended we try it - we were visiting from out of town. Generous portions at this restaurant. We had the fish dinner and butter chicken. The fish could be ordered with fries or mashed potatoes. I had the mashed potatoes. Great coleslaw and a fresh bun rounded out my meal. The butter chicken came with rice, naan bread and a crispy baked cracker type thing. Good flavour for the butter chicken. 4 pieces of battered fish on this plate - excellent crispy batter with tartar sauce on the side. There are several Indian dishes on the menu. They offer pie on the dessert menu but we didn't try it today. Interesting selection of teas - tried the frosty plum spice - really excellent flavour. Would come again to this restaurant if in the area. Thanks for a delicious meal
