Hockey Extreme

I've been to most if not all adult hockey schools in the GTA. David and his team at Hockey Extreme are by far the best. I am consistently impressed. I love the small groups and how they coach to your level always keeping everyone engaged. I cannot say enough good things about David and his awesome team of coaches! I feel like I'm actually progressing and breaking through a plateau. Thank you David and coaching staff!

It took me a few years to get into their programs (I was too late to register not knowing how popular they are), but once I got in, it became obvious why their programs sell out often and quickly.Their Adult Hockey Skills program is the perfect mix of individual skills (skating, shooting, etc.) and team-play concepts (breakouts, cycling, etc.) to improve technique, sharpen hockey IQ, and build confidence on the ice. My game (and my beer league team) has benefitted greatly from Dave's programs - far more than any other program I've tried.

Since joining the Hockey Extreme programs I have dramatically improved every single aspect of my skating, agility, speed, crossovers, backwards skating, shooting, deking, puck handling, and game play! (I've also lost a few pounds along the way). I am currently attending 4 classes a week and look forward to each and every one! David Trombley and his knowledgeable coaching staff are really great and have a keen focus on developing the fundamentals of hockey—weaved into every class and adaptable to every skill level—and they always keep the classes fun. If you want to get back into hockey or take your skating and hockey skills to the next level, then I wholeheartedly recommend the Hockey Extreme programs!

I have been a client of Hockey Extreme adult programs for a decade. Dave initially instructed my women's only group, and the results were fantastic; Dave's morale building and results driven teaching style resulted in the growth of women's hockey in the GTA. Now, my husband and I participate together in as many Hockey Extreme programs as we can. Drawing on his professional hockey experience, David Trombley has developed a superior method of instruction, and his lesson plans build weekly from session to session. Dave's instructors are also incredibly adaptable to different skill levels, and improvement is measurable. Best of all, Dave's groups are fun and provide an exceptional work-out. Hockey Extreme gets our highest recommendation!

I love this program. I took Sunday am Skills classes and had a blast. I improved both my hockey skills and my game strategies. David plans his classes thoughtfully and each class builds on the previous one. Added bonus- David is available after class to chat about skills and fitness and to answer any questions you may have. Hockey Extreme is a professionally run hockey school for players of all ages and skill levels. I joined a year ago after a 10-year absence from skating and playing hockey. I was concerned about just jumping back into the game so I signed up to re-learn and improve my skills. I’ve been having a great time participating in the adult skills and skills plus game sessions. The skills sessions are well thought out and executed. The combined sessions have let me try out new skills in a real game scenario. David Trombley and his coaches have really helped me elevate my skills, and I enjoy playing with the other hockey enthusiasts who learn and play with HX. The experience has surpassed my expectations.

Dave and his team at Hockey Extreme run the best adult hockey experience I have found in the city. Skills sessions are well run, varied and fun! As well, having coaches on the bench for the game portion of the 2 hour session really helps with learning how to play the game right. I highly recommend this program if you want to get a lot of exercise and learn to play hockey the right way!

Hockey Extreme is an excellent program for anyone who is looking to up their hockey skills. David and his team run a well organized and thought out program that is both fun and challenging. I’ve seen a definite improvement in my skating, stick handling, passing, shooting and overall hockey sense since joining. I highly recommend signing up!

Great hockey program! Dave and team do a fantastic job coaching and teaching the fundamentals. The drills are challenging and help you become a better hockey player. Highly recommended.

I signed up for hockey skills and power skating classes. I was very happy with the whole experience. Dave ensured the classes were relevant to what I wanted to work on and had a wonderful personal touch, whether that meant tips on the ice or off-ice exercises and drill. I would highly recommend their program.
