Fantastic service, very reasonable cost. At the end of 2017 October I was thrown a curveball when selling my mother’s home. A home inspector advised we apparently had asbestos materials in the attic. EMS was recommended so I took a sample to EMS and Simon did the testing. They promised results in 3 days and I was very surprised when the results came back in 24 hours. Chad was very helpful and easy to work with. Told me exactly what to do and how to do it. Result turnaround time was excellent. Cost for samples was excellent.

I hired Chad to come out and look at a mould problem in my parents basement. He came outside of regular hours and did air and surface sampling. Once the results came back from the lab, Chad fully explained them to my parents and I and gave us recommendations on what to do next. Booked EMS to come out and do some testing on our new-to-us 1950's era house. We had a suspicion that the plaster walls were asbestos containing and the official confirmation is helpful for future renovation planning.The tester, I forget his name, was fantastic! He was on time, very friendly and did his best to not leave any lingering testing spots. He, and Simon, answered any questions I had being a first time home owner. The results came quickly and appreciate Simon's expertise when talking about next steps. As well, the testing package we booked was fairly affordable compared to what I was reading online.We will absolutely reach out to EMS for any further testing on our home.

This is the second time my partner and I have had to use Simon’s services and we cannot be more pleased. He is quick to respond and answer any questions. Our results also came back with a very quick turnaround (with positive news, thankfully). Would highly recommend!

We are in the process of sending our third sample over a year and a half to EMS. Like others have said, they are quick to return results and their prices are very reasonable. We emailed them once at 5:40pm on a Sunday and he responded later that night! It's also super convenient that you just need to drop off the sample in the mailbox and wait for the results.Just a heads up though that Google Maps sent my wife to the back alley of their location. So note that if you are using Google Maps, make sure you go to the front of the building and NOT the back alley.

We found different types of flooring with the potential for asbestos in a 1950's house after removing carpets. After finding EMS online, I contacted them and they were very responsive. We took samples and received the results very quickly. It turned out negative however a small price to pay for peace of mind. Highly recommended.

I had originally called Simon regarding some asbestos in my home and he was very knowledgeable and was actually quite honest and told me I didn't need an asbestos assessment. I had reached out to other asbestos testers and one person even quoted me $1500 just for testing.The second time I called him was when I needed to do some demolition on my drywall, his contractor showed up on time, was easy to talk to, and was also quite knowledgeable (I can't remember his name). Not once have I ever felt that they tried to upsell me anything that I didn't need, which is very rare. I know that fear selling" is very prevalent in this industry. I don't recommend anyone too easily
