Very hard to be in contact with anyone. Calls aren't returned, emails aren't answered. Completed application, mailed in payment, asked to have confirmation from them when my payment was recieved but had no follow up.Update - If your timeline hopes are anything less than 6 months you're going to have a bad time. Other than that I did eventually recieve what I applied and paid for.

I have been waiting for my and my daughters renewed Metis card since May5 2021 and still haven't received it in the mail. I have phoned many many times and been told since September that's it in the cue.My other daughter has received her first Metis card in October .Sent all the paperwork on the same day not sure why a renewal card takes longer then a first time Metis card.Very disappointed that you have to wait 8 months or longer.UPDATED! May19 and still waiting for my renewal card! Last I heard was ours was misplaced and now in batch 95 to be printed and they are on batch 91 which mean I need to wait a couple more months. I was told that they can't move me up to batch 91 which doesn't make any sense to me not my fault that they misplaced my info.There is NO reason why renewal cards should take 13 or more months to receive.

I swear these people are always on holidays when you try to get a hold of them. What are these people getting paid for? Is it that difficult to answer emails and or phones calls? They’re holding onto peoples application money like they’re broke. Why do we even have this kind of federation if there’s ZERO communication when their people can’t get a hold of them. DO BETTER!

I don't even know what they do here, because they don't seem to have anyone working for them. Emails and phone calls go unanswered (for over a year). Not an ounce of common courtesy, professionalism or competency is to be expected from this organization if you are needing help. I would say go elsewhere" but you really have no choice in the matter. if you decide to contact them or not

I hope David Chartrand is monitoring these reviews because he really needs to know what his staff is up to.I thought he ran a tight ship.In my years of dealing with this Organization things have gotten worse. It used to be better than this. What happened?Big Egos now andIt seems people are using Covid as an excuse tonot work".Is anyone working here?I know they're going through renovations but there are still people working in the office and at home but you can't get through to ANYONE .Tiffany Monkman

Hit and miss. Family that are not Status, have gone the route of Metis, with genealogical records…processing their application has taken a long time. I understand they need to confirm things but it would be nice if they could expedite things, thanks anyways.

I went there with my wife to get my second covid shot and the people there from the security guard, to the people signing you in, the nurses and the lady with the stopwatch. I'd like to thank them for doing for being professional courteous and doing an amazing job. But as far as the Manitoba Metis Federation goes I didn't go there with the intention of meeting any metis people but everyone was talking about the self-government Proclamation, so I would like to say congratulations to them and hope they have a smooth transition and everything in the future goes great. Thank you for the great hospitality MMF

Can never even get anyone to answer phone at main number. Does anybody even work there?
