Had a very good experience. Process worked well and they kept us focused on a good and collaborative outcome and most importantly the good of the kids.We accessed two types of resources1. Family professional to draft and document a co-parenting plan2. Each had a lawyer for the separation agreement including assets, child support, etc.Much quicker and less expensive than court and seemed more balanced than mediation as we each had a lawyer representing our best interests. You literally sit at a table with your respective lawyers and work through things... with the lawyers doing some stuff in the background. Have heard some stories of mediation that became lob-sided based on the mediator, so this seemed more balanced and objective.To offer a bit of balance to this review, my lawyer did put me in my place" a couple times but this was in interest of the process and a good outcome. Admittedly did not like it at the time... but in hindsight was good as it kept the negative feelings out of the process which mattered far more.I am an educated professional but was unfamiliar with the "collaborative" process. I will be recommending it to everyone in a similar situation as we had a better process and outcome than anyone else I've talked to who has been through a separation.Would strongly suggest talking to them to better understand their process and see if they can help with a better end result."
