Very friendly service, soups were fantastic and portion sizes of everything was very generous. Reason for the 3 starts instead of 5 is due to the cashew chicken I ordered... it was definitely not chicken. The appearance, taste and texture was lamb, possibly goat which is odd as they only have chicken, beef and shrimp on their menu... could have been beef I suppose, but 100% this was not chicken (large chunks of meat comprised of thick dark strands mostly attached to a thick rubbery band). I definitely ordered chicken and cashew chicken was written on the container. At least they were generous with the quantity and I do actually like lamb & goat! However the sauce was also not very nice.

Worst Worst food you can expect . We have ordered hot and sour vegetables soup from this place to be delivered to my sick uncle . When we called our uncle after a day to ask how was the soup ? He said it was just plain hot water with lots of salt in it . No vegetables or noodles in that . These shop owners should be ashamed from the quality of food .

I order from them all the time. I have noticed numbness in my body, heart palpitations, facial pressure and headache after eating. This is due to high amount of MSG in the food. Please be careful. It may taste good but it is making me sick.

Not even exaggerating, but the food here is one of the best hakka food I've had in ages! I come from the GTA where there are the popular hakka places, but this restaurant takes the cake. The flavour, the spice ... JUST DELICIOUS! Great customer service as well! Can't wait to order again!

If you are driving through Georgetown and need a quick bite of some fantastic food, go here!!!Their hot and sour soup is the best I've had! The flavors were intense and it was spicy just the way I like it.I had for lunch the Chilly Beef. It is a good sized lunch especially for the price and you will be full. Comes with rice and a small springroll (not made in house). They could also use a little less sauce on the plate.The flavors were just outstanding in every bite and you could tell the food is made fresh and in house.Better for takeout but a really quick lunch at one of there 4 tables works too. Looks to be family run and the person who took and served my order was pleasant, polite and friendly.

Ordered twice - Lunch SpecialsGeneral Tao and Chilli Chickengood portions - comes with veg soup or pop and spring rolls.soup was good - really enjoyed it! could drink 2 of those!spring rolls - first time i got 1 the second time i got 2 - not sure why. they are very tiny - so two should be minimumGeneral Tao - was goodChilli Chicken - was okay.i got noodles once - good but need a little more salt i thinkgot rice the second time - was but mushy rice. didn’t go well with the chilli chickenother than that - price is good as well! need try few main dishes next

Feeling under the weather and after a long day decided just to have soup for supper. Many of our favourites were closed for New Year’s Day and as this was opened and bookmarked we ordered a large Vegetarian (Vegan) Hot N sour Soup. The stock is plant based.Ordered over the phone and they mentioned it would be 30 minutes. After 30 minutes reached there and still not ready and 10 additional minutes.The inside there are 4 tables but none of them are ready for dine in and all the orders were takeaway. Too many boxes stored everywhere including near the tables.The soup quantity is the same as all other restaurants and slightly more expensive when compared. The soup was very very salty! I had a small bowl and hardly finish it. Mrs had to fix it by adding a bowl of water and some slurry. That made it palatable.The place does hold some potential. Will try one more time with some dishes perhaps.

Found this place by happenstance and it has been our go to place for hakka food. We enjoyed the spring roles, the lollipop chicken, and the garlic chicken. Definitely recommend this place. The gentleman who was at the counter had a smile throughout.

Outstanding food, great flavour and generous portions. Ordered it once to try, been ordering ever since....something different every time. Had family over recently and introduced them to this place, and now everyone loves it. You can't go wrong!

Great little Hakka restaurant in south Georgetown. We were welcomed with a smile, as soon as we sat, water and the menus were given ✔️. We ordered the crispy beef, pepper shrimps and Manchurian chicken dry; the dishes came with a large bowl of white rice. The shrimp was the best, tasty and really crispy; second was the chicken and the beef was good but not what we expected as we have tried other Hakka places, perhaps was their sour sauce...Above all, we liked this little place, we’ll be back and excited to try out other things in their menu.( we were there on a Friday around 7 and all the tables were taken and a couple people waiting for their take out foods) that’s a good sign
