I would not recommend this shop to anyone. My boyfriend brought his truck to this shop to have 2 lines replaced and ended up having to have the transmission rebuilt due to the shops error. Leaving us out $800 and 3 days without a vehicle. Now the owner Bob was truthful with this error and came forward about it, but due to his workers inept and lack of knowledge he tightened a bolt too tight cracking the transmission housing. Along with other issues becoming present (which wouldn’t of come into play if the transmission didn’t need to be removed) Bob continued to raise the bill higher and higher and using the excuse the it’s a “20 year old truck”. While he will probably reply back on this review saying “ I rebuilt you a transmission for $300” (which is technically the truth). However, when the time would’ve come for a new transmission we would have bought a new one with a warranty for close to the same price. At the end of the day it is what is. I would also like to point out no one in the shop was wearing masks and not maintaining the 6ft distance. Take this information with what you will.

My son recently purchased a car from AutoCorrect. Bob was very informative, caring and detail-oriented. He handled all the paperwork and even replaced some parts as an added bonus. I would highly recommend Bob and AutoCorrect. Bob went above and beyond and my son and I are truly grateful! A+ !

My son recently purchased a low milage and impeccably clean 2013 Sonata at a very reasonable price. The service from salesman George Ryan was outstanding. He is knowledgeable, honest and friendly.

I have used Bob's garage on numerous occasion's for myself and family over the last 8 years. I always find the staff and Bob to be very thorough in his work and his prices are very reasonable. I would recommend his shop.

Needed a back wheel bearing replaced and new tires put on. Excellent service all around, very friendly and communicative. Very fair pricing and timely finish on same day of drop off. Could've done out of province inspection there too but didn't know! Awesome shop.

Our car broke down when visiting Bowmanville, from Nova Scotia. We asked around if someone knew a good mechanic, with a small shop. Bob at AutoCorrect was recommended by an acquaintance, so we called ahead, and we got towed to his shop. The shop is small, but very clean and organized. Bob took our car in, and told us he will call the same day with the diagnostic and the cost. A couple of hours later, he called with the information, and later the same day he called to let us know the car was ready. Since in was raining heavily, we asked if he could leave our car inside the shop till the next morning, when we would come to pick it up. No problem, he said. The next day we went to pick up our car, everything worked great, the cost of the repairs was very reasonable, and he even showed us the old part he removed from the car, so we can see what caused the problem. Overall it was a great experience, and I highly recommend this shop. Thank you, Bob!

Found Bob through a referral bc my brakes sounded angry. He got me in right away. He did an assessment and called before any work was done to explain what was going on, the breakdown of the costs and my options. As a bonus, he fixed my creaky driver’s side door! Bob even checked in with me the next day!! I’m very happy with the result and highly recommend. I will definitely be back should I have car issues in the future!

Everywhere I have lived, I have looked and found that one mechanic that I could trust 100%. I found Bob by word-of-mouth and have not been disappointed. If Bob says I need something, I get it. I had one problem with my driveshaft, other places quoted me about $700 more. Bob had experience in this identical issue and brought parts in that were better quality. He has the European work values and ethics. For work he does not do, he referred me to people that gave me great quality for great value.
