Theodore & Pringle Optical in Real Canadian Superstore

The employees who are working therein the optical store in metrotown are racist and sneaky and disrespectful they were looking at me in a weird way they speak Chinese with each other looking at you and gigle, this is the second time happened to me and the first time I thought it was a coincidence but the second time happened I know it was intentional , I will never go there again, to be fair there is a nice Indian guy that I dealt with thanks to him . I don't recommend this store ,if you are not chenese don't go there

Case 13343253 involving Optical in Real Canadian Superstore at Metrotown left unresolved with no feedback for 2 months (as of September 25, 2022). Be careful in case of issue, these people at Metrotown will deny any responsibility.Went at Optical in Real Canadian Superstore Metrotown location end of June early July 2022 to show a broken frame to see if anything could be done. “Served” (ahem!) by optician that I will hide the name for now by respect.While his reply was professional and very much appreciated, sadly he inadvertently scratched my intact lens while explaining that even after repair my frame would be weak. The mishap happened when he put together side by side the ruptured temple to the rest of the frame while talking.Since my regular optician says he’s responsible for this as I lost the use of a good lens, I reluctantly went back to the store, explained the situation, but optician denied any responsibility, and one of his colleague, despite not being present when the incident occurred, decide anyway no matter what to stick with the faulty optician.Fact is when the optician gave me back the temple and the frame, in an attempt to hide his gaffe, he put his fingerprints everywhere on the scratched lens in an attempt to hide the scratch. Now tell me who has ever received their lenses covered with fingerprints from the hands of a professional optician? This is the evidence he knew perfectly well he damaged the lens and refused not to be held accountable for it.I know accidents happens, however in the end I ended up with more costly repairs than before I went to this location in search of advice and inquiring about potential repair.See attachment showing the scratch.

Great store for big family shops, lots of good deals, sales and stocked well, it's a good store, security was a bit aggressive following me, tattoos don't make you a thief, anyway, myself,wife and kids have all shopped here for years. Like a super sized safe way. Bless

The optical part of the Metrotown Superstore is my favourite place to get my contact lenses and glasses. They remember faces and appreciate repeat customers. Really friendly and prompt service.

Some times you have to search going through the aisle to find an item. I subject to make an app so we can find the product location in a big store like this. Have very thing in one roof. Bit busy in the weekend.

Never ever go here late on a weekend. The place will be packed and the shelves empty.Their prices are still relatively reasonable though and there's a wide variety of grocery items.

A one booth inside a corner of the grocery store, near the pharmacy. The frames consist of well known branded or usual. I haven't tried their service yet.The grocery is a place to shop for reasonable pricing for groceries, household accessories. Covered parking, good no matter rains or snows. No fear of break-in, a security guard is stationed and on patrol throughout the area.

Wide selection of food from fruit to meat and meal-to-go. Lots of promotions every day with very good deals, depending on the item. The name sounds fancy comparing to Save on Food but to me, it’s way cheaper, and quality of goods is still excellent.In-store displays are fine. Stuffs are easy to find with clear instruction on the ceiling at every aisle.Employees are nice and very patient regardless of the chaos, especially during weekends.* BONUS for today, April 27: Store manager, if you are reading this, give a raise for Krunal and Rustam!My friend was thirsty and looking for a water fountain. We went to the customer service and met Krunal. He had no idea where the water fountain was, but he made an attempt to help us find it by asking other employees and running around to seek for it. Turned out he didn’t know, so he literally gave us a bottle of water! That was one the sweetest things in the world we have every had!Rustam was loading stuffs onto a cart when we came over to ask for breadcrumbs. He stopped what he was doing and he took us all the way from the meat aisle to the bakery aisle to show us the item. He showed us the exact spot to find and the exact breadcrumbs that were available then. So dedicated and helpful of him!We truly appreciate the help from this two guys and we believe they deserve more than just a rise in wage. :)
