It's been over 3 years since we arrived on Salt Spring Island, and we couldn't have done it without help from Fiona.We were staying near Victoria at the time, and the first day we visited Salt Spring, we knew it was for us.We met Fiona shortly thereafter, and we knew she was going to be the one that was going to find us our next home.After travelling back and forth from Victoria to Salt Spring to look at properties Fiona came up with a great idea, and her logic was sound. She was able to procure a temporary rental for us which is tough to come by on this island. It allowed us to get settled in on the island, get the kids into school, and once a property did become available, we would be able to view and bid on it immediately. Some call that risky, but we were all in, and Fiona was there to support and guide us; our Fairy Godmother" :)In just over 2 months

We bought our home on Salt Spring Island as complete strangers to the area and could so easily have been misled. My daughter and son-in-law had just bought a home through Fiona and their experience was notable so it was an easy decision for us to use Fiona as our buying agent when we started our search for a home on the island. I found her to be patient, professional, kind and knowledgeable and she made the transition to our new home feel almost seamless. We were living in Toronto when the sale went through and Fiona took care of the details and kept us well informed of the progress along the way. She answered our correspondence quickly and efficiently and went above and beyond her role as realtor in helping us get furniture in the house and putting us in touch with local businesses. We are now happily living permanently on the island and are grateful to Fiona for helping us find what we hope will be our last forever home. If I ever need to buy another home I would use Fiona in a heartbeat!
