I contacted the owner, Nick, the night before I was going to visit. We set a time and when I arrived this morning, he was already waiting for me. That's service! He remembered what I was looking for and took the sticks out for me to try. He explained what the different compositions mean, how they affect play, difference between stick brands, etc. He asked questions about my skill level, my position, in order to determine what the best fit would be. Nick was listening well to what I was looking for, my concerns... I have dealt with Nick before, and I have to say, I have always had great service. We were in need of new field hockey shoes and having a lot of difficulty finding shoes online. A friend suggested Hockey King Sports and so I called Nick and he offered to meet us that evening at a coffee shop (store is closed due to Covid) with a few options. He's very knowledgeable, friendly and the prices were fair. We actually went back to his place to try on a different size and we ended up buying two pairs of shoes and a bunch of grip tapes too. Highly recommend checking him out!
