I would say that their communication skills are very poor. They leave people hanging and though family have gone to them in person to complete paperwork they get contacted months later saying something was missed which was on them for saying it was fine for signing off on it months ago. The people running it kicked out the leader, then gave themselves raises. Claim we are entitled to territory in BC which we are not and partner with entities like Enbridge which they then use as clout to say they have indigenous support. Many are struggling in poverty and needing help but seeking aid from MNBC results in long periods of hearing nothing at all, and then poor communication in the follow through. They'll often stop communicating altogether and not follow through on promises made to help. It seems like this organization is designed to mimic the Canadian governments, supporting the ones at the top by garnering a show of members and then leaving those members in the dust.

No one ever answers the phone nor does anyone return calls. It’s actually unprofessional. A week of calling but hey the jigging music ain’t so bad at least they have that going.

Raise awareness, and hold our leaders accountable and transparent, we are all worthy of Metis services/support, every one of us!I'm very happy to hear some citizens have had a good experience with MNBC, for those who have not had a good experience with MNBC, I ask why? What is the difference between the citizens they help and the citizens they do not help?If one qualifies for help/support as a citizen and they do not have a good experience with MNBC, there are no grounds to hold their actions accountable.Example, Indigenous Services Canada (ISC) provides funding to MNBC to be distributed to the Metis Nation Post-Secondary Education Strategy's terms and conditions, and guidelines. ISC does not play a role in reviewing MNBC decisions concerning funding/support, ISC suggests an appeal process be established to review citizen concerns. This system as is holds no one accountable, citizens are denied support/funding, and there is no transparency rather deny
