Words cannot fully describe our experience with The Spice Factory.We booked our wedding for September 2021 back in 2019, before the pandemic. A world away from where we are now.With all the stress of planning a wedding through Covid-19, starting a new job and just watching the world burn, I was an absolute nervous wreck and very disorganized. The on-site wedding planner I had met before the pandemic was no longer working there, so I met the new planner, Haley, in the months prior to the wedding.Haley was an absolute DREAM to work with. (Truly the entire staff was incredible, but Haley deserves a shoutout for dealing with my many emails and phone calls.)Throughout this entire process she was just a call away. Always helpful, efficient and kind. She was constantly checking in with my MOH the day of the wedding to ensure everything was running smoothly.Thank you Haley so very much for all you did for me leading up to the wedding!The Food. Where do I begin? Absolutely delicious. Our guests were blown away by the cocktail hour and the dinner. Chef Dez and his team have curated a number of gorgeous menus and were so accommodating with any substitutions/adjustments that we needed. (Sick getting a sad, damp portobello mushroom as the veg/gluten-free option at most venues? That won't happen here.)The Bar & Service. The bar staff were so much fun and our guests had the best time with them while ordering their drinks. They brought so much personality and fun to their service while being very professional.For the sake of writing a review that people will actually read, I should wrap it up here.You will not be disappointed with entrusting your wedding/event with the team at The Spice Factory. 10/10 all across the board.TLDR; Our wedding day was perfect, and The Spice Factory was perfect :)

What a fantastic gem in the heart of Hamilton. This historic building has much to offer and is a great place to hold a venue. The parking is great as there are several nearby Parking lots . The interior takes you back to the 1920s and is a throwback to proabition days..The staff was very friendly and the drink prices are reasonable. Clean large washrooms are Avalible.

The Spice Factory was an amazing venue for our wedding ceremony and reception. It is spacious and accessible, and allowed for an effortless flow through our day with the multi-level event spaces. The backdrops this building offers really shocked us, and the staff throughout the day were amazing, very accommodating to our guests needs. Chef Dez also did not disappoint - the food was awesome, and our guests were offered GF, V and Veg options. Highly recommend!

My partner and I were looking for a wedding venue that could host our ceremony, cocktail, and reception. Spice Factory was amazing during our year of planning. They were so collaborative and always focused on making our ideas and dreams happen. On the day of, the staff was very attentive and ensured our guests were looked after including well fed and quickly served at the bar. Jana and her team are amazing at making it all happen on the day of. We had 0 wedding regrets about our venue and wish we could do it all again.

We booked The Spice Factory for our wedding in June 2018 and it was absolutely fantastic! The staff were amazing, the venue was so easy to decorate and personalize and the patio was such a great feature.

Overall a lovely venue!I've been here a couple times here for different events, however, I recently attended a wedding which helped with a full experience.First, I'd like to say I love the fact that they have 3separate floors and you can have the ceremony, dinner, and the party all in one place wirhout the hassle of having to move tables around when it's time for dancing. And let's not forget about the cute patio.Second, I think they have a very nice and rustic look and it really doesn't need to much decorations. The building got so much character on its own.There's however, couple items need to be fixed. Firstly, the floor on the first floor has a few broken hardwoods and my stiletto heels got stuck a couple times. Secondly, the food and the dessert (brownies or a chocolate cupcake, not sure what we had) tasted good but were kind of too dry.

Recently had my wedding there. Was not disappointed, very kind and accommodating staff. Food was great, my guests were talking about it for days after. Unfortunately I was so busy and tired I only took a few bites of my supper. One day I will steal the chef's bread recipe !

After a challenging 2 years of wedding planning through a pandemic, we were finally able to have the most wonderful wedding at Spice Factory in October this year. The entire staff was nothing but helpful, but I have to point out two people in particular. Haley, our events coordinator, was absolutely wonderful with our preparations and everything day of. Chef Dez put together a terrific menu for us and the food was truly fabulous. We were able to truly utilize the entire venue with our ceremony on the third floor, cocktail hour on the second floor and our reception on the ground floor. The hanging lights against the brick walls made for the perfect backdrop for our band and lively dance floor. I wouldn’t change a thing about our day and we are so thankful to the Spice Team for everything!

Beautiful event spot! Have been here multiple times for different events, usually weddings. They have done some major renovations and it is stunning! If you haven’t checked it out I highly recommend it! Beautiful space, lovely staff ❤️

We had our wedding here and it was just perfect. The vibe was amazing and the building is so beautiful…every floor! The staff was very nice and it was great having the whole building to ourselves. Haley is an awesome coordinator and Chef Dez is great. They were very accommodating regarding the rescheduling due to the pandemic.
