John is a wonderful teacher. My daughters have been taking piano & singing lessons at his lovely studio for about 5 years. He is very talented & my daughters are flourishing at his studio.

John Dean is an incredibly talented and knowledgeable mentor for any music enthusiast, beginners and professionals alike. He has created a comfortable environment at Soundwave Studios with positive vibes and great acoustics! My experience working with John will stay with me my whole life because he not only was my music teacher and mentor, but gave me the confidence and feedback I needed to be able to pursue my music path. I wholeheartedly recommend John Dean and Soundwave Studios. Reasonable rates, good value for your money, and a very positive studio experience.

John is a gifted teacher as well as performer. I teach music as well and have learned so many great things from him as a student of his teachings that I cannot compliment him enough on his ability to get students focused and learning quickly. 5 stars!

John is a multi-talented and incredibly competent teacher. He can teach and play many styles of music effectively. As someone who's been taught by him, recorded by him and has performed with him, I can confidently say he's a pleasure to be around and a fantastic musician! Additionally, his studio is very cool. A collection of old, new and just sweet instruments, along with his own beautiful handy work. Highly recommend!!!

25 years, I have worked with John. John encouraged me to play while i was doing Chemotherapy, he was patient and encouraging. He became my friend somewhere along the journey. I originally met John 25 years ago and I had wanted to learn to play piano, classically, yet my fingers just never worked the same during chemo so... he taught me how to write and play arpegios and relaxing sounds during my therapy to end cancer and i am grateful. He became such a key friend in my life that i later wanted to sing and write songs with John.John is the right person to help you with your creative endeavors whether it is studying classical piano, to learning to improvise jazz style, singing coach, guitar coach, playing music of all genres and ages, teaching how to write music, recording, mixing, producing, video production, etc.If music is your passion.... call John.He will make your dreams a reality.Thank you John.

John is an accomplished musician and a talented instructor. His diverse instrumental knowledge is impressive. He has been teaching my two boys piano for over two years, and the balance between classical theory, and keeping lessons fun and entertaining has been amazing! He also has an awesome recording section in his studio. Would recommend Sound Wave Studio to both beginners, and skilled musicians alike.

John Dean is an excellent piano instructor who teaches with passion and patience. He is knowledgeable in a wide variety of playing methods, from classical pieces to jazz improvisation.
