Captain's Legacy Bed and Breakfast

Addie and John were warmed, awesome hosts. The breakfast was delicious, the room was very comfortable. Beautiful little town with lots of restaurants. We had a lovely stay!

We so enjoyed our stay with amazing hosts, John & Addie. This B&B is everything you would want and more - wonderful location, beautiful yet cozy accommodations, great area information and the best breakfast around (those scones!) We hope to be back soon, and will definitely return to the Captain's Legacy.

We had the opportunity to spend 5 nights here in July. A wonderful experience with the hosts being so very accommodating and friendly.The rooms were top notch and the service amazing.Breakfast was served in a lovely atmosphere and was always absolutely delicious.We would highly recommend this unique B&B if visiting Twillingate.

A real GEM Of A BnBWe really enjoyed our 4 night stay in early Aug. 2021 and was totally blown away by our gracious hosts John and Addie who were there to greet us and treat us like family. The hosts were so friendly and helpful and knowledgeable able the house history and local activities.The breakfasts were great- always a different flavoured scone and partridge berry jam. Captains Quarters was a lovely room with good ensuite and a great view across to Twillingate. Lovely to sit on the porch on colourful chairs by the water.

Excellent location - close to hiking trails, stores, kayaking, and any restaurants/pubs you may want to visit in Twillingate. As well, both John and Adeline are fantastic hosts that go above and beyond for their guests. You will be treated to a fabulous breakfast and great chats with the hosts and other guests each morning. Highly recommend staying at the Captain’s Legacy BnB!!

I had the most perfect experience here. John and Addie truly made me feel at home away from home. I travelled to Twillingate for work and they provided the most comfortable and cozy work friendly environment. They are extremely knowledgable and gave fantastic recommendations. An ideal location with the most scenic views. The b&b itself was fascinatingly beautiful and your experience here will be unique and memorable for all the right reasons! Could not recommend this place more.

We had the most wonderful stay at Captain’s Legacy – an exceptional B&B and the hosts, John and Addie, could not have been more welcoming or offered better hospitality. We felt like family from the minute we stepped in the door to this comfortable home. There are so many details in place to ensure we had a great time. The room/bed was lovely and the many common areas (living room, porch, rocky beach) provided wonderful spots to enjoy the bits of time when we weren’t exploring the area. And – the amazing breakfasts were – well, amazing! French toast, fluffy fruit pancakes, eggs, fruit, juice, great coffee – and John’s scones (to die for). Such a warm, friendly and fun place to stay. We highly recommend Captain’s Legacy and hope to return some day.

Beautiful B&B with lovely hosts John and Addie. The surrounding area is amazing, rooms were clean, comfortable, spacious and lovely. Really enjoyed the breakfast and the stay was first class.
