Great friendly service here for an affordable rate than the dealer shop. Front brake pads are replaced for &200 and brake fluid for just &80. I also called on Saturday and received an immediate appointment for Monday.

Took my 2020 Tacoma to the Midas on Willingdon for an oil change and to figure out the a/c. 3 hours go by and they finish the oil change and inspection, start a/c diagnosis. 4th hour they have narrowed down the a/c to the clutch on the compressor. I don’t have the patience for their bs anymore so I bring it to sonic. Steven is awesome. I tell him what Midas said and hand him the keys. I left to grab a coffee and just as I get it I receive a text that he’s finished. The a/c just needed recharging. Took 15 minutes. Midas told me another 2 hours. If there’s any other problems I’m coming back. Earned my trust.

Very Professional and attention to details. Pointed out a minor issue with the car ( also told us it is no need for repair at this visit). believe the issue existed already but never mentioned by any other auto shops. Competitive price. Will come back again.

Steven is the bbbbbbbbest!!!!!!!!!!!He fixed my Mini Cooper with only 1/4 of the dealership’s quote and even half of the labour !!!!!!! He is really knowledgeable as well. Lots of mechanics said they can’t fix the problem but Steven did it!!! I traveled from Victoria for Steven and it turns out now really worth it!!!!!! Would recommend this place to everyone I know…

It is a rare thing to find a car mechanic who is as knowledgeable, honest, reliable, and who gives really low pricing. I feel like I found the jackpot of car mechanics in Vancouver/Burnaby with Steven. He's friendly and flexible, never pushy and gives really good advice. He's quoted me on work that would cost more than double than other car mechanics and will throw in free labor like popping out a dent or changing air filters.

My first time replacing brake pads for my adorable car, and Steven the owner just did a great job. I highly recommend sonic auto: first, they know where to get affordable parts for your vehicles; then if you can prepare your parts, they only charge a fair amount for labor where I paid less than $300 to replace four brake pads; lastly, they care about efficiency so it only took me two hours to wait for the brakes, while some other shops need four to five hours to complete it. Steven is a kind and passionate person so take my words that he and his team will take good care of your vehicles!
