Accento School of Music

I had been wanting to try playing drums. Then I found Accento School of Music. It is located nearby my work place, so I gave it a try.Joe is an experienced drums teacher. His way of teaching made someone like me with no sense of music pick up drumming easily. What a learning experience.All classrooms are built with sound-proof insulation, so other classes like piano, guitar or violin learning can be proceeded at the same time under one roof.I highly recommend Accento School of Music for both kids or adults. You won’t regret!

Accento is doing a wonderful job in supporting all the kids virtually during this pandemic. I take this opportunity to thank my sons teacher and the administration for this amazing support to continue with the classes and to make the kids understanding virtually . My son is learning piano with the same teacher for the past 2 years and I didn’t had any regret .Thank you Accento for the amazing support . I truly recommend all the parents to look on joining with accento and I’m sure you will never regret your decision. Keep going Accento !!!

Both my daughters love attending their piano lessons in Accento. The management always greet you with a smile and makes you feel welcome in their newly open school. The teachers are very professional, they give me feedback on how my daughter are both doing. Kudos to Ms. Matzkin and Ms. Denise Fung for making lessons enjoyable for my kids.

As a student that has been studying at the school for more than 10 years, I am extremely thankful to all the amazing staff and teachers that I've encountered on the way. I am always greeted with a welcoming smile each time I enter the door and everyone is extremely kind and helpful. I thoroughly enjoyed every lesson I had with Ms. Matzkin and Denise and I always learned something new and valuable with each lesson. The encouraging atmosphere, professionalism, and efficient communication are some of the many reasons that I returned year after year. They truly kept the promise of fully supporting me along my journey of learning piano and theory, and I could never be more grateful for their encouragement and dedication.

My child would like to pick up a new hobby to learn singing. I am looking for flexible methods - online or in person music lessons due to the Covid19 situation.I was referred to Accento School of Music by a friend. I contacted the school and the staff was very friendly and asked me a few questions on expectations and music background. They quickly arranged a vocal teacher for a trial lesson.The teacher contacted us quickly to arrange a time and discussed the songs style my child wants to learn. We received the material for the lesson after the discussion.The lesson was done online; the teacher was very friendly and experienced to keep my child engaged. She enjoyed the lesson very much and find the teacher was very encouraging. He gave some practice exercises at the end of the class. I am very happy to see my child was excited after the lesson and kept practicing the techniques she learnt in class.I will definitely recommend Accento School of Music and the teacher. I am pleased with the arrangements the class and communication with the school and teacher.

I had the pleasure of taking virtual vocal lessons with Wanda this summer, a course of 9 sessions. My goals were to improve public speaking quality, especially vocal projection, and do better at karaoke! Wanda is a natural at teaching, always supportive, engaged, and willing to challenge. She planned each lesson around my goals, progress, and feedback, and each session simply flew by. I also love the lesson summaries after each session. I only regret I didn't do better on my homework in between lessons, but overall, I learned so much and feel I have much better awareness to work on my goals. I hope to take another course of lessons in the future. A shoutout to staff too; I appreciate Jennifer, who arranged the lessons, so responsive and easy to work with. Accent School of Music is an excellent place for children to develop their musical interests. The people are friendly and professional in their interactions with the students, and everyone, whether in person or online. The school is clean, organized and comfortable.

My son has been taking piano lessons here for over 10 years. Sandra has been his piano teacher since he started here and she’s great. Sandra and this school are very professional, organized, and are great with kids. My son has learned so much and continues to enjoy his lessons. Highly recommended.

Absolutely amazing. My daughter takes piano lessons with Denise and she loves it. They are very professional and provide exceptional friendly service. I’ve also signed myself up for piano lessons starting next week :) I would definitely recommend Accento school of music.

My sister and I love attending Accento School of Music, and wait until the next Saturday comes. Playing piano is our favorite hobby, and Accento School of Music, isa big help.
