Canadian Tire

It was Boxing day 2022 at the very end of the day 5:58 pm (they closed at 6:00 pm).They not only let me in the store but the staff was very helpful getting me out of there quickly.It was a great experience.

I attended at their parts department on Sunday, 14 May 2023. The only guy at the desk was rude and had zero interest in serving me. I had to ask him twice if that was the parts desk and both times he abruptly answered that it was without taking his eyes off his computer or asking if he could help me. When I asked a 3rd time, I wanted to know if they carried a certain item. Without answering or acknowledging me, he walked away. I again asked him why he wasn't acknowledging or answering me and the employee said he needed to go to another computer. I noted that I hadn't even told him specifically what I was looking for. the employee replied he was looking it up which didn't make sense as he didn't have any specifics on what I was looking for . I noted to him that he wasn't responding or acknowledging me and I felt he was bothered and annoyed. I told him I would attend another parts store and he replied Ok thank-you" with a smirk on his face. I asked to speak with a Manager or his supervisor and he responded that he was the Manager. I told him that because I can't see his manager and he is the supervisor

Had a last min stop at CT to grab welding wire and we grabbed the package we wanted for 17$ and it rang in at 50$.. so obviously we were not going to pay that.. the lady was rude as hell and assumed we were lieing about the price.. we went back to the shelf and realized all the welding wire were put in the wrong places so we spent 15 min trying to figure out what ones we could afford.. even tho Canadian tire has a standard policy that states if the items price is incorrectly marked you must sell the item to the customer at the lower price. We did mention this and the lady laughed and told us.. your not getting it for cheaper that's too bad" that's poor customer service .. to miss Paula who was so rude to us tonight.. I hope you feel good about your poor customer service."

I dropped my car for vehicle safety inspection at 1020 , Adam received my car and said the vehicle is ready between 1400-1500 . At 1500 I went to pick up my car surprisingly I learned they didn’t even start the job and returned my car. Poor customer service

The store is fairly new here in Alcona it's not a humongous store but you know it pretty much has everything that you expect from a Canadian Tire store, however I find that Canadian Tire stores are so expensive, I went in to get synthetic oil for my car, and a filter, and when I got to the cash I was charged 70 for the two items of course it's synthetic oil, I paid and left the store and a friend of mine told me that it was expensive and said, why don't you go to Part Source? they are a lot more reasonable for the same product so I went to Part Source and surely to God I paid less than half of what I paid for at Canadian Tires, so I came back and I returned the items that I had purchased at Canadian Tire I wasn't going to pay $78.17 for something that I bought that I only paid $41.80. It's like rubber mats for the cars $59.99 plus tax you find in other places for half of that price I feel they gouch the prices.

I recently had two oil changes at Canadian Tire and both times, there were oil leaks afterwards. The second time, I specifically informed the them about the previous leak and asked them to make sure it didn't happen again, but it did. On top of that, the oil change took a painfully long 2-3 hours to complete.The customer service was also terrible, with staff being uninterested and unhelpful in resolving the issue. I was extremely disappointed with my experience at Canadian Tire and would not recommend this location to anyone. The lack of attention to detail and poor customer service make it clear that they do not take their job or customer satisfaction seriously.

This is for Alcona Location. I have been going here at least once a week for the last 7 years. Extremely friendly and helpful staff but I do need to call out one person. Laurie goes above and beyond her duties every time I see her working. She is super knowledgable and friendly and embodies all the values a superstar employee should have and strive for. Beyond the regular store stuff she rocks the garden centre and truly belongs in that setting as a team leader or manager if she isn't already. I have never had a question unanswered and she is always fun to share gardening tips and tricks with. This employee is why I usually spend more time in the store and spend more money because of her vast knowledge and speed of finding me things. Give this superstar a raise!!!!

Shopped the garden center yesterday around noon hour and the lady and young man were amazing. Very helpful !! Finally found my hibiscus plants and more !

If you must shop at Canadian Tire, I would recommend avoiding this location. Their return and exchange policies are much more stringent compared to other Canadian Tire locations. Thumbs down to them.

would've given zero star if possible, called them today for a tire change and was told to come in, so I loaded up all the tires in the truck and went there, the staff was super rude he told me he didn't ask me to come and that they are fully book for the day, I showed him the number that I called he said yeah that's the correct number but I didn't ask you to come I don't know who did but I can't help you. Never going back to this location and will never recommend it to anyone.
