Worst skiing experience my family has ever had. The cards to get on the ski lift didn’t work properly. My daughter had to get a new card twice in one day and still had trouble with it because she had to take her gloves off every time to take it out of her pocket(she wasn’t able to fit it in her glove like the rest of us and she really struggled). The food was wildly over priced ($5 for a chocolate bar?). The staff at the rental shop were lazy, rude and completely unhelpful(if it’s your first time skiing GO somewhere else!). The grooming was AWFUL. The prices were different online and they shut one of their lifts down while on a Sunday so it was a 45 minute wait to get back up the hill. My kids ended up getting stranded on the lift for over 30 minutes when the second one ended up malfunctioning. DO NOT WASTE your time.

great little ski hill with a variety of runs for all ability levels. i'd definitely recommend checking conditions online before going, as many of the routes are closed in early winter or early spring.

Great location for enjoying nature! Pool and hot tub closed at time of visit. Choice Hotels lists both. It appears that pool and hot tub have been out of service for a while. Restaurant also closed and unable to comment.Resort advertises bikes, but also not available at time of visit. Bike availability also advertised in the elevator at time of visit.Lauren at the front desk provided excellent service. She is very personable, and I noticed her providing excellent support to all the guests and always with a smile.

My daughter went here with her school. Instructors were not attentive. She passed her ski test right away, but the little sticker they gave her fell off her jacket. They wouldn’t let her on the chair lift. None of the staff would help her. She had to test again, then the new sticker fell off also. She ended up never skiing the entire day. Came home in tears.

This review does NOT pertain to the restaurant on premises, which is run independently from the hotel and is excellent. This hotel continues to list its amenities on the Choice Hotels site to include hot tub and pool - both have been closed long term. Disappointing but not a deal breaker. However, no hot water for showers is unacceptable. Was offered a 10% discount at checkout, not enough to make up for the lack of basic necessities and advertised amenities. Waiting two weeks for management to return my email, no reply so far.Nearby motels run at about 60% of the price here and most likely have hot water. I suggest staying elsewhere.

I went to Calabogie peaks resort for the snowboarding. It offers some great green runs that are great for riding with family and friends. They have electronic lift gates with reloadable cards, a nice lodge to chill in (it's a bit small), a bag room to keep your bags and boots.Overall pretty great place to ski/snowboard!

This review is for the ski hill. We did not stay at the on site hotel. The hill is decent size, equivalent to Blue Mountain. 2 lifts and maybe 1/3 the runs of Blue, however the runs are quite varied and much more enjoyable than Blue Mountain. It also has fairly consistent grades that are enjoyable rather than the puff my chest steep runs at Blue that then flatten out. Hardly any lift lines either during family day long weekend. We were originally planning to go to Mt Tremblant but glad we came here instead.Buy rfid pass online and scan your QR code automatically at the ski hill to avoid waiting in ticket line.Had a great time here, too bad it’s a bit far for Toronto folks.Hint: there’s not much breakfast options in area but the on site cafe Mountain Cat Cafe opens at 8:30am before lifts run (9am) and serves breakfast. Didn’t realize that before.

Absolutely the worst staff I have ever encountered (except for one ski instructor). What a disappointment to have our holiday wreck by disgusting customer service. There is no direction at the resort at all. Staff is all over the place if your lucky enough to find anyone, they are unhelpful, rude and multiple different answers were given by staff. No one knows what is going on and no one assumes responsibility for anything. For the amount of money they ask you to spend you would think they would care about customer service but this not the case. We have been to different ski resorts and I have never in my life experienced this with staff. We will never visit this resort again nor ever recommend it. Please save your time and money and vist one of the other four wonderful resorts in the area.

Most amenities were closed during our trip (pool, restaurant, tuck shop). The continental breakfast had very little available. The rooms are a good size and decently clean.
