So sad that the park was full of broken glass throughout. There needs to be a safe place to take your pup in a central location.

As others have mentioned, it's very muddy when it's below freezing. Because of the mud, when the ground freezes, it's rather bumpy. The dog I'm sitting walks along the edges near the fence when he's on his way back with a ball. Have not seen broken glass personally. Noticed the encampment near the part, but the city seems to have bulldosed it in the last day or two (as of Feb 13, 2023).I don't drive and I don't know of another entirely fenced in dog park near by, so it will do. Perhaps if they're bulldozing the encampment, they'll give the park an overhaul?

Found a dead cat placed on towel on bench there Aug 26. Called 311 to send Animal Services. Growing homeless encampment and broken pieces of glass very disappointing.

Now there's a homeless encampment next to it with garbage strewn out next to the tents. It's an eyesore

Citadel Hill Off-Leash Dog Park
Although the dog park is completely closed in, the terrain is not ideal. We've stopped taking our dog here as she has torn the pads on her paws twice now. The ground is covered in stones and she is the type that loves to run. Would not recommend unless you have a dog that just wants to sniff around.
