Came here on a monday night, food good as always! we were greated by a lovely lady full of energy which is the best kind of welcome followed by our server dave who was extremely attentive and looked after us all evening! lovely staff, good food!

Great staff, came in for a friend’s birthday a month ago. Brilliant day and just what we needed for the inevitable drinking afterwards (at a different location, no one likes a drunk in a restaurant). Everyone really looked after us and we’re really attentive and helpful. Server (Dave) was fantastic.

Usual good choice and quality of food. The staff were very good with my disabled mother. They held open doors and helped walk her round to her table. I was also impressed by the staff and how they helped other elderly and disabled customers. The chef who was carving was very friendly and engaging.My only complaint would be about the state of the toilets. The smell is terrible. This is noticeable on every visit. Hand driers don't work and the wallpaper is peeling off the wall. Could really do with a good refurb.

Simplicity at its best. Everything good until you pour their famous gravy. Then it turned even better. Love the place, love their warm services, will surely return for another brunch.

The staff are always friendly and helpful and this time it was no different. Our drinks order was taken soon after we arrived and there was no queue for the carvery so we got our food straight away too. We recently switched from being regulars at the Toby Carvery Woodford Green and we wouldn't switch back as Snaresbrook is the nicer of the two restaurants when you take into account the food, ambiance and layout of the restaurant.

We always have a great experience at The Eagle Toby Carvery. Fantastic food at a reasonable price. The staff are always friendly and helpful. Stefan particularly was a star at the end of the evening, helping us with a personal issue. Can't wait to go back.

Was there on a Saturday afternoon, it was very busy and naturally quite noisy but I didn't mind that too much. I felt that the meat sliced and put on the plate was noticeably less than I received before but the Yorkshire pudding and unlimited veg meant that I was still satisfied with the meal. Some of the veg needed refreshing but it was generally ok. The service was very good even thought the waitress seemed very busy.

Popped in as in area and been to others and had good experience. This was really bad. Staff friendly which was only good point. Took 20 mins after getting a drink to get order taken ( place was normal lunchtime busy not packed)- Not too hungry so went for Yorkshire wraps. Told they had to make fresh ones as out and would be 15 mins. Fine. About 40 mins later at least we got food and one of the wraps served had batter that was almost completey raw- was plain white and soggy couldn't believe anyone let that leave a kitchen. Pigs in blankets ordered as quick replacement dry and flavourless.

Absolutely lush. The service was great and the food was delicious. I love the old pub setting it had such a lovely cosy vibe to it. Staff were so welcoming, friendly and helpful. First time going but it won't be the last.

A great place to have a cheap roast dinner with the family.Lamb is on Sundays.Otherwise on Monday to Saturday it's Turkey, gammon, roast pork, and beef.Vegetarian options are available but will need to be ordered from the menu. There's plenty of veg options at the serving station, but no nut roast, etc, that needs to be orderedParking is free, just reg number needed at bar machines.Nearest tube is Snaresbrook on the Central lineStaff are helpful, food is fresh depending on how busy it is. seats are available online or if you call.Nice to have a pint in too, no reservations needed.A minutes walk from a lovely park too.
