A good place to get second hand household reno materials. On my last visit there were sinks, large bathtubs, cabinet fittings, wood stains, and even furniture like bed frames, desks, dining room sets, and more. While not everything you could want was there, the inventory keeps changing over time, so check back periodically and you may luck into a great deal.

Great shop for used furniture and fixtures with a mixed bag of home construction and renovation needs. You might also find exercise equipment and appliances like stoves and refrigerators, and all for a good cause.

I had some furnitures in used condition that I wanted to donate to people in need. They refused to take them because they won't make sufficient money from selling them.Those furnitures were not perfect but if some person cannot afford and needs a desk or a chair that would be perfect for them.They told me they turned down many furnitures from people who also thought that's what they do.To conclude: sell or donate somewhere else.That's my sad experience at least.I'd also be wary of non profit organizations that aim to get money as a first and only priority.

The Re-Store is a great charity and an excellent place to buy used (and sometimes new) fixtures, furniture, appliances and hardware. Worth dropping by a couple times a week just to see what they have.

My favourite thrift store in town. The selection of goods here is always changing, and you can find just about anything. The prices are really good, although they seem to have gone up a bit recently. Definitely recommend this store!

A great way to repurpose old furniture and household goods. Everything from lights, cabinet doors, couches and tables. My only advise would be to have the doors better organized or labeled so that they are easier to sort through. If I need two cabinet doors that match it's difficult to weed through the stacks to find a match.
